What about dual eligible chronic needs plans? Are these really better than orginal Medicare & Medicaid.
@LilylilyLily-vf3nw3 жыл бұрын
Yes but Medicare advantage plans also can leave you with large out of pocket expenses that increase every year. Also Medicare advantage plans do as little as possible to treat you. Come on let’s tell the truth.

Aetna Medicare Advantage, 390. Per nite for hospital stay, 100. For ER visits, 50. Specialist copay, no homecare if you are solo, 250. For CT scan or MRIs, 100, for lesser tests, and they "Deny" a lot you will fight. If you have surgery and you are solo and they send you home there is NO HELP! you will have to pay for private nurse and that will put you in major debt and I have been fighting Aetna Advantage for 2 yrs for reimbursement because tere is a big void in system for solo people. Hope this helps, I will be switching.

Does Tennessee have personal exemptions? For tax years beginning January 1, 2018 and after, individuals 100 years of age or older, or any person who files a joint return and either spouse is 100 years of age or older, are exempt from the tax. Single Filers: A legally blind person is exempt from the Hall income tax.

I think it is sad that I have to drop my Medicare because I am moving out of the United States to a country that has top rated hospitals for a fraction of what the United States charges. I will have to purchase a costly private international policy and lose my benefits I worked my entire career for.

@buyerbware253 жыл бұрын
You should look into signing up for at least Part A, and be in the program by your birthday, unless you are wealthy enough to pay out of pocket and avoid late enrollment penalties.

Show calls these schemes, "advantage plans". To whose advantage: the company. Consumers usually get a disadvantage plan. United has people that their entire job is to find ways to deny coverage. I made this mistake. Fifty dollars would not cover my PT visits that suddenly were not covered. I reached out to Congressmember Peter Defazio. I was given a "script" to enable disenrollement from United. Pushing these plans without questioning why medicare is going private, remember, private means profits for them and bankruptcy for you. AARP should be ashamed. Look behind the curtain. The is no free lunch.
