scary when the bus comes in late and the next one doesn't come till am but the bus station closes and everyone has to stay outside in a bad part of town
@mayamartinez58055 жыл бұрын
Also, if you miss a transfer due to your first bus running late and you need to get another ticket, sometimes they will force you to pay the full amount of the new ticket. It happened to me once and I told them I wouldn’t since the bus was late and I already paid for the original. They did not care and told me to either pay the amount or I won’t ride the bus. I asked if I could then get a refund for the amount of the new ticket and the lady said, “I won’t refund it. It’s not my fault you missed this bus.” No it’s not, but it’s also not my fault. I did pay it, but I called customer service and they refunded me my money. So be prepared for that in case it happens.

Some years ago I did a trip from new York City to los angeles on the dog, schedule #1683 no transfers, same coach all the way. And that schedule is still active today, depart nyc 4pm arrive 3 days later at 9AM if I remember correctly. was a good trip, lots of meal stops !!!!!!

In one video Can you talk about the reboarding tickets they give you when you stop at a station for an hour and how you need to give it back to the driver in order for you to get back on the bus first because some people don’t understand how it works

If you have to buy a new ticket because of something that was their fault...that's stupid. And terrifying. I dont have money to put towards another ticket that's bullshit...I'm moving cuz I'm homeless and you expect me to be able to buy other tickets when I already paid for my tickets? No, that's when they should put it towards another ticket and say "sorry we fucked up"

On every Greyhound transfer is it recommend to take my bags everywhere I go? Cause I'm afraid of losing my baggage.
@pearll_abcdgarcia29066 жыл бұрын
Tim can give a better answer but I would only put things I can afford to lose, i.e. clothes, in my suitcase. All the important or expensive items I would keep in my backpack on the bus. Maybe even one change of clothes in the backpack. But that is kind of true for any method of travel. You can pack a lot in a backpack and they are not to hard to carry when they are heavy.

I don't understand why Greyhound hired people that can't handle Customers, they shouldn't work for customer service at Greyhound because of their attitude and personality, they weren't trained to be patience with customers, customers should be treated with respect, paying to ride Greyhound, next time.take Amtrak

Is there a place I can find all the major transfer points one will be forced to switch at depending on their journey around the continent? I notice Richmond, St Louis, & NYC are a few obvious ones that connect different regions. Also I imagine Montreal & Toronto are others esp as they're Canadian entry cities.
