I'd recommend Songkran at Silom during the day and Sanam Luang in the evening. This year we had traditional events at Sanam Luang. We had parade in the evening of the 12th and we had traditional music and dances for all ages for four nights, and activities for kids as well. All was free of charge. I hope it will happen again next year.
