My favourite is Sanguine because of his quest in Oblivion where I had to cast a nakedness spell on a bunch of nobles. I'll never forget the feeling of exhilaration as I ran out the Leyawin palace naked without any of my equipment or gold, guards hot on my trail at every corner. Since you can't fast travel when they're after you, I had to walk all the way to Bravil to shake them off and be able to fast travel to get back my stuff. It was like Naked and Afraid Cyrodiil edition and I loved every minute of it!

I think Sheo is my favorite, primarily because the one we see in Skyrim is _us_ from the previous game. Meridia has the coolest artifact and is perhaps one of the least morally questionable Hircine grants lycanthropy, which in Skyrim terms means “free immunity to any and all diseases with literally zero downsides.” I don’t think I’ve ever triggered the werewolf ability throughout my seven different characters, but not having to deal with vampirism is one hell of a perk

@@Verchiel_ Kind sounds like the custom build I most often play when I'm not borrowing characters from KZbinrs like Fudgemuppet or Skypothesis. His primary function is that of necromantic janitor. Cleaning up the world by raising and promptly destroying corpses so they don't rot and spread disease. To boil the backstory down, he was a citizen in one of these classic RPG towns where the great hero saves the day and protects everyone from a dread evil. But in doing so the hero left all the beaten corpses where they fell. And their rotting lead to a plague that our guy ended when he learned vanquished zombies dissolved into ash and how to use this knowledge accordingly. I'll vary combat skills based on mood at the time. Often use Enchanting to recycle the souls of his kills. But the one constant is Conjuration to wax and wane zombies to keep the land clean. Kind of a high fantasy environmentalist if you will and thus likely well regarded by Peryite.

I like Malacath the most! His care for the orcs seems beyond any other divine form of devotion. He actively cares for and protects them. He’s unique in that (similar to Meridia) he’s not a Daedra, rather another being that fell from power. He was Trinimac, a god that was Auriel’s (Akatosh) top warrior. He was a MONSTER. Except he was ‘defeated’ (idk if in battle or trick) by… either Molag Bal or Boatheith and eaten. He eventually busts out as the daedric prince Malacath. As Malacath he is actually significantly weaker than he was as Trinimac. So he’s a bloody god of vengeance who patronizes those who were wronged. Makes sense he would champion the orc race and be their patron deity.

Partially true. I am genuinely torn between Hermaeus Mora and Sheogorath: Hermaeus Mora: I am a big fan of Lovecraft and the Cthulhu Mythos, so I dig his aesthetic. Likewise, I resonate with his thirst for knowledge. That said, I'm not that into Poe or Gothic horror, _those_ kind of tentacles bore me, and I take severe umbrage at the suggestion I have ever owned/worn a fedora. Sheogorath: While I outgrew "random humor" well over a decade ago, I am of the opinion that good memes never truly die. And I just so happen to have developed an encyclopedic memory for them, hence have references for pretty much any occasion. And like Uncle Sheo, I don't particularly care if such references go over listeners' heads, because *_my own amusement is all that matters!_* And no one wants *_me_* of all people getting bored, now do we? @@tostytaco Adding on, I do think find the "lol random" style of humor funny, but I think the difference for me is that I keep it to myself, and only share it if I know that they will find it funny, though sometimes I just do random stuff to amuse myself, like walking funny or impersonating a random character, usually either Emperor Palpatine, Denethor, or Hondo Ohnaka (I'd do Sheogorath too, if I could do the accent). That being said, I don't prank or make fun of anyone, I usually make myself into the joke.

First I went through some sort of quest in which I was a big brute caring for a little girl (kinda cliche, think last of us meets Shrek or something). I woke up for a short lapse, and fell asleep again. And then dreamt I had my usual real life body, and was walking across the village the past dream took place in, walking across every market, grabbing items, putting them on, and discarding them. Anything from hats to Ponchos, dusty and clean while people looked at me weird (I was literally just stealing shit and dropping it) and did nothing. As I walked across town I saw a big brute caring for a little girl in different occasions, and I slowly realized I was watching my past actions in the other dream as someone else within the same area and the same dream. That's not the end of it, but there you go.

He also helped a dremora to escape her cruel daedric prince, and she is chilling in apocrypha now, which seemed pretty nice of him. I also believe him to be more powerful than Jyggalag, but since he is smart enough to shut up about it, the other daedric princes won't realize.

Cause I always join the Thieve's Guild to 1) get the best armor set in the game and 2) have a statue of Nocturnal...in my room...and a body pillow with her likeness on the cover. (And I join the Dark Brotherhood even though I hate them but I have to get Shadowmere, best horse in the game. He also goes well with my Nightingale Armor.)

I beat the Thieves Guild quest line *exactly once.* It started with me screwing over an Argonian jeweler who had previously given me a quest to get materials to make his wedding ring (a huge deal culturaly with Argonians), and said betrayal involved _fucking with his jewelry._ It ended with me strong-armed/eternally bound in service to Nocturnal, one of the gods I vibe with the least in-setting. The Nightingale Armor and weapons were a paltry reward that clashes with my favored playstyle. And no matter what I do, I am denied the option of killing Maven "Hillary" Blackbriar. *The juice was never worth the squeeze.* Ever since, I've run a mod that basically gives you the option of wiping out the TG if you ignore Brynjolf. Still waiting for something to waste or get revenge on Maven that _doesn't_ involve console commands. I'm currently running a game with Legacy of the Dragonborn, and I am using console commands _exclusively_ to fill out the TG-related exhibits. *Fuck Nocturnal.*

I like Nocturnal! No one actually knows what she is. She predated the Daedra and Aedra, iirc she was already there in the beginning with Anu/Padomay. The other Daedra call her grandmother. I might be wrong here but I believe she is space? Whereas all the other Daedric Princes and Aedra are like… literal (kinda) planets shes the night sky. Idk if she has a ‘celestial body’ or if she flat out IS space. She’s closer to Sithis than she is to an actual Daedra which is pretty cool. And she seems like one of the most chill. She just Is. No malice. I don’t recall any time she negatively interfered with Nirn. She just kinda encompasses all things within her. Even ‘good’ Daedra usually have agendas and plots and she doesn’t really. Beyond that, as grand as she is, she still looks after the thieves guild. An entity nearly infinite in size and scope looks after and cares for those at the bottom of society.
