Mr. Incredible put up with Buddy for a looong time, even after his fandom turned into full on obsession. And his screwups not only let Bomb Voyage get away, but he nearly got himself and others killed on that bridge. And even after all that, Incredible just told him to leave. You cant blame him for Syndrome having issues.

The vampire that turned Sadie Blake (Lucy Liu) in Rise: Blood Hunter. This is an example of a villain creating their own hero, admittedly, but they turned a lady and then just let this new vampire out wild into the world and were somehow surprised she'd come back to kill them all.

Left out a big one. Tony Stark created Ultron, who trashed Sokovia. Which created the Sokovia Accords which splintered The Avengers, resulting in a lack of a unified front when Thanos finally arrived on Earth. Hell, Iron Man and Dr. Strange weren't even on the same planet as the rest of the Avengers. And then Stark has the gall to deride Captain America in Endgame by noting they didn't fight Thanos together, as Cap had said they would. It was Stark who gave Thanos the opening for the snap.

I'm not entirely sure if Tony turned down Killian solely because of his appearance, though: Killian was incredibly offputting and showed a lack of regard for safety protocols even before that point--it struck me as very similar to the "creation" of the Riddler in Batman Forever: Bruce didn't turn down Nigma's proposal because he looked weird, he turned it down because the proposal itself was potentially dangerous. Now, the difference in this instance is that instead of just turning him down, Tony pulled a prank on him and sent him up to wait on the roof like Killian was Happy Gilmore waiting on the Nine at 9:00.

1. Like Neo knew what was gonna fucking happen after doing that to Smith? He had literally JUST come back from the dead and was all juiced up for the very first time. 2. Smith made it personal from the very start. He was also the one with a distinct personality and a goal. The other two agents were merely doing their programming and never tried to break away from it. Smith had developed his own ambition.

I have issues with #10 - since we're talking about the movies not the books. It's heavily implied that Nedry made some big mistake and that is why Hammond refused him a raise. It had nothing to do with his job or what he brought to the park. Has Hammond said "I don't blame people for their mistakes, but I do ask that they pay for them". Sure it might seem harsh, but whatever Nedry did doesn't sound like it was Park business. He wasn't being stiffed by Hammond. Now what happened in the books I have no idea, never read them. But based on the movies alone, I can't say Hammond was in the wrong here. Sure, maybe if he had helped Nedry wouldn't have gone rouge. But at the same time, that could have made things far worse had the park actually opened and the really poor security measures lead to thousands of deaths.

Kirk created Khan as his arch-nemesis by stranding them on a planet and never once bothering to check up on them. Spock created Nero by making a promise he could never fully keep in saving Romulus. Harry Potter's father created Snape as a death eater by relentlessly bullying him. In the Last Jedi Luke absolutely seals his own fate by fleetingly considering killing Ben Solo instead of trying to save him like he did Darth Vader through love and understanding. In Interview with the Vampire, Louis could've just left with Claudia but instead made a full out attempt to murder Lestat, therefore breaking the one rule of Vampires in that world, they do not harm their own kind. In Gremlins, the kind mannered Billy through carelessness allows the villainous Stripe to be born and lead to events that allow him to become a Gremlin and terrorize the town. In Silence of the Lambs, Clarice Starling's desperate attempt to secure her own advancement and respect from her peers puts Hannibal Lecter in a postion to maneuver his way to escape. In Casino, Gambling expert Ace Rothstein manipulates an unstable, free wheeling woman into becoming his wife despite her warnings that it would never work and destrory them both which it eventually does. In Friday the 13th, Alice decapitates Pamela Voorhees unleashing the rage in her though to be dead son Jason on the world for decades to come. And most famously, Obi-Wan Kenobi ignoring all evidence of Anakin's instability and emotional issues and training him, then trying to kill him and not making sure he was dead.

I'd like to present Batman the animated series episode "Trial" as exhibit A, where Batman is put on trial by his rogue's gallery for his culpability in causing them to become the supervillains they've are due to his costumed vigilantism. A trial in which the critic forced to defend him realizes his villains would have ended up becoming the deranged criminals they are with or without him...the gimmicks may have ended up different, but all of them were at their core on a path of lawlessness based on their own egos. I believe this holds true for all the comic book based supervillains listed here. All of them were possessed of an ego that was just waiting for a spark, "maybe" the hero nudged them unknowingly by mistake, but all of them had fundamental problems internally and were psychoses waiting to happen. As for Agent Smith, I personally believe it was the Oracle that brought him back. Neo possessing him "might" have played a part, but there is an undertone with the Oracle and a throwaway word between Smith and the Oracle that leads me to believe that she brought him back in order to introduce a chaotic variable to the cycle the machines were playing out with the humans, which was her programming in the chaos vs order dynamic, and it works...his reintroduction throws the cycle into chaos and creates an existential threat the machines have to take a different approach in dealing with up to and including not playing out the cycle of culling freed humans to completion.

Hammond is not innocent but we also don't know why he chose Dennis. Obviously Dennis is very capable of the job so if Hammond hired him for his skill then no matter what its Dennis's fault he's being underpaid. If Hammond hired him because he asked for lower pay then other quality hires then that's Hammond cheaping on expenses. Since we don't know why Hammond hired Dennis I'm gonna say it was Dennis in the wrong for bidding low on the job not Hammond sparing expenses.
