For Fable 3, the whole point of that insane decision was to make you see that your brother wasn't actually evil just forced to make the same hard decision you are now making. While I personally suck at fighting the Arc Tempered monsters. Id hardly say thats something that "ruins" the game. In older games you had 4 ranks. Low, High, S rank, and G rank which had fights that were equivalent to the tempered fights. That's part of the fun, the challenge, and the overwhelming sense of achievment when you see onw of these world ending beasts fall to your blade. If anything its one of the big draws of the game.

Surprised that the Sonic Frontier Pinball challenge wasn't on the list. Dark Link is one of the sub bosses I actually look forward to facing. He can be easily cheesed or you can just not lock onto him and just swing your sword.

Are you insane? The Dark Link fight was one of the absolute best fights in OoT. For as amazing as that game was, and it was (and still is) one of the best games ever, the bosses and other fights were mostly trival. The fight against Dark Link was one of the very few occasioins where you're usual bag of tricks did not work at all. You had to get clever with it, you had to try different things, and if you went through your actual bag of tricks and tried your inventory items, you'd find that the hammer guaranteed success. The only other fights in this game that provided a dynamic feeling back and forth were the skeleton dudes with the shields who would block and counterattack and the lizard dudes with daggers that would jump behind your back and stab you. Terrible call.

The money if Fable 3 wasn't to pay off the big bad, it was funds to fortify, arm and train your country to survive the upcoming assault. It is also insanely easy to do if you've bought properties as you go (which I'm assuming most people do) since if your playing evil you just jack up the rent and even if your playing good you only have to lower the rent 1 tier to still get good points and money.

This sums up why I ignore achievements other than "well, that's nice that I did something the developers thought was cool or funny" much less medals and colors. I harken back to the days when Blizzard put out good games for the sake of the game play, and completing it was the reward. I didn't need some artificial ways to hamstring myself like "beat level without losing any troops" or "completed campaign without building a battlecruiser". Getting through Starcraft and Brood Wars just left me feeling satisfied. IMO, when I finish a game, if I: a) Feel a sense of satisfaction b) Want to play again with a harder difficulty c) Want to try it again a different play style d) Want to see a different ending Then I feel I've gotten what I paid for without needing to replay a level just to make sure I jump through ring 12 off of tree 17 to collect statue 29 of 513.

I don’t mind trophies that require multiple run-throughs, or minimal deaths, if they are the kind you can complete within an hour or two, once you know what you’re doing. It’s pretty lousy to put those kinds of trophies in a game with a 30 hour minimum storyline. Before trophies were a thing, I remember replaying RE: Code Veronica on Dreamcast where getting the S-Rank required using no ink ribbons, meaning you only got one save point when you switched discs after knocking the tyrant out of the plane. That required about 90 minutes of perfect play and not messing up on that one fight. And then you had to get through another hour plus of gameplay without dying (Nosferatu knocks you off the rooftop after 20 minutes clearing the Antarctic base? Restart; a Bandersnatch one-shot random attack crushed your head? Restart. Stupid Steve clips you with the Axe? Restart.). It took me about 9 playthroughs to get past the first half, and maybe 15 more runs to beat the whole game. Ugh.

I dunno, the limbo one seems picky. By the time you are going to go for that trophy you will have already experienced all the ambiance and whatnot enough that doing a near perfect game would be more of a fun challenge for the platinum grabber rather than something obnoxious like the level grind in the bike game you mentioned earlier.

Monster hunter world got me on thus one. World needed 1 item that wouldn't drop for me after multiple weeks of trying for it until I was so infuriated that I ended up Uninstalling.

Two things: 1) Limbo's last level. That's all I need to say to tell you how fucked you are with that achievement. 2) The paying off the evil one is actually super easy if you wanna be cheaty. Here's how it works: play the game offline. Buy as much property as you can up. Make the rent INSANELY HIGH. Save, close game, system, date, set it forward a decade, and return, save, close game, reset date a decade, return, spend money on more property, rinse and repeat. You NEED to save each time and not be online, else it'll not work, plus you need to reset your time else you risk it glitching out and giving you diddle squat. If done right, you should own every property and have plenty of money for king/queen AND country within about 2-3 days of doing this (rent acumen is slow as hell in this game, so it's not exactly easy breezy. Plus, you gotta keep repairing houses else they make no cash). Sure, you'll be corrupt as hell, but when you've got enough to save the country just make all housing free and, boom, hero. It's how I got it. Honestly, not getting knocked out was harder, the combat could be such a dick sometimes.
