Some people are upset about the Monster energy drink placement. What they don't realize is while Sony has millions, they are just the publisher. All games have individual budgets they have to adhere to. So, Kojima Productions probably had to fund the numerous cameos and possibly starring roles themselves. That's not cheap. Hence, why product placement is (was) used.

Can't remember what the third item is but love to see the back and forth - DS uses the Decima engine, same one that ran HZD - DS is easily my game of the decade, can't recommend it enough! This happening in the private room, i have a private room experience that kinda scared me. Here is what happened: *Sam knocks on BB's pod*,*BB knocks back*,*Sam knocks a tiny bit harder*,*BB does the same,*Sam knocks a bit more harder*,*BB starts hitting the pod and head butting it*, *Sam backs up*, *BB breaks the glass with his head and crawls through*, *Sam wakes up in a sweat*. Yeah kinda terrifying.

Dudes - the "kept you waiting huh" line has been around looong before Metal Gear - Ground Zeroes, sniper Wolf has never had a hideout in a cave in any Metal Gear game - quite the opposite in fact, in a towerbuilding, the codec in Metal Gear is actually far more advanced than in Death Stranding (even the ones on MSX2) and has actually had portraits (sometimes animated in 3D as well as 2D - as you can see at 5:50 in this very video) for most of the games, Manhattan is significant in Death Stranding, not because of Metal Gear but because of it's history with bridge babies there and a great voidout that killed the United States President as stated in the "From the "Report on the Voidout in Manhattan" mails - nice catch with the GAME OVER screen though as well as the "strands" theory at the end

I don’t think it’s an Easter egg per se, but I think my favourite discovery is watching BB take a swim in the hot spring with Sam. And those heart bubbles are so cute! And the fact that if you look down at BB as the odradek gives you the all clear thumbs up, BB does too. Ok, I just love BB. BB is life. BB is love.

They're a couple of cinematic parrallels as well: - The Tree of Life: During Heartman's family story, the beach that he sees with everyone walking looks exacly like a scene were we see the afterlife...fitting. - Apocalypse Now: During the last Cliff fight he rises from the water with marks on his face, just like in the movie during the climax. - Under the Skin: *MINOR SPOILERS* after the giant BT fight with Higgs when he shoots you and go to the Beach, if you look up while swimming you can see a giant Amelie walking over it. In the movie there's an EXACT shot like that, as the victims on the film drown an allways look up to see a walking """woman"" over the water. Most of Amelie's character is soooo similar to the protagonist of that film. - The End of Evangelion: *HUGE SPOILERS* when Sam is in the "moon" just sitting watching the beach covered in blood with the Earth on the background, looks like the film poster and everything about that scene feels a LOT like the apocalyptic climax of the movie. Sorry for my bad english. Hope someone makes a video about those or maybe others that I didnt catch (besides the movie posters and soundtracks you can find). Loved so much the game!
