Fun fact, the original production name was: Blue Harvest, which fans of Mr. Sunday Movies and the Weekly Planet Podcast zoocrew will hate being mentioned.

Batman Forever had the same production name as Val Kilmer kept walking around set muttering to himself “I’m feeling blue”

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed to find out that Palpatine's description of Darth Plagueis' story was more-or-less (in world) accurate, even if those powers were never going to be taught to Anakin. When I saw Palpatine telling Anakin about the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise in Episode III, I thought it was just Palpatine using lies, deceit and emotional leverage on Anakin rather than it being necessarily true. I personally think that would have been a more interesting thing to explore. We, as an audience, very rarely get to see characters just straight up lying; to the point that, if a character says something, we tend to just assume that it's true. Our most obvious blatant liar in Star Wars is, perhaps, Leia telling Tarkin that the rebel base is on Dantooine, and that feel different somehow (probably because we're on her side, she's the hero and we kind of know that she probably wouldn't betray the rebels). Anyway, I don't have any real objection to Darth Plagueis existing or his story being explored. I just thought it would be interesting if Palpatine's use of Plagueis' story was based on a total fabrication simply told to draw Anakin in with little factual basis. Obviously, at some point, the lie would need to be revealed but, by that time, it would be too late for Anakin. Imagine the anger: not only did Anakin not save Padmé (indeed, he was a significant factor in her death), the thing he was told about being able to save her, the thing that really helped push him to the dark side, wasn't even true. 😈

After seeing Episode XII the first time my theory is that Han Solo put that saber through his own heart. Watch the scene again with this in mind and you will see that he did thatso it looks like Kylo did it but Han was saving his son Ben at the same time. Just watch again and you won't unsee it

What they SHOUKD have done was have an Elder Asoka ask Rey who her family name was....and when Rey said 'Skywalker', the camera should have panned across the shadowed headdress of the woman (Asoka) with a sneaky smile! 🤔😁

My favorite is still Journal of the Whills Saga I: The Star Wars: Episode 4 The Continued Adventures of Luke Starkiller: Revenge of the Empire Striking Back, part 2. With the original production name being: Blue Harvest, which also was the name Star Wars.

The Solo son attacking his father is nothing new. In the EU, Jacen Solo attempted and almost succeeded in killing not just Han but Leia and his sister Jaina when he had his Star Destroyer fire on a shieldless Falcon, bullseyeing the ship down the middle taking out both the famous quad- guns. Everyone almost got sucked into space and the Falcon was left drifting lifeless.

The problem with Palpatine coming back in the Sequels is that he wasn't suppose to appear at all, it was all thanks to Rian killing off Snoke, and how he came back was just poor writing on JJ's part.

How can he say that Anikans return was nice and wonderful? It was bad. Rey was there and Ani who is the chosen one basicly gives his story to Reay. It was more than just bad
