I have LOVED them since i was 11 and got Aquarium for Christmas. I'll never forget listening to Aquarium and Aquarius over and over and over. Megalomania was amazing too, I just wish they would tour the states. They have a lot more fans here than they realize. So many people have mentioned to me over the years how they love both of those albums too.

I agree, it's a terrific fun song. I do enjoy loads of different artists who might be deemed as "serious", but I really don't get it how some people don't find the value in fun, lighthearted music. It's part of life's joy in my view. Maybe it's a case of, when some people lose their connection to simple joy, then they become critical of artists and people who retain it. Just a thought 😄

Their version of I Am What I Am was really good. I was pleasantly surprised as was so used to them being very cartoon bubblegum pop. It was very stripped back, minimal music and almost a capella which brought their voices to the forefront. Wished it was a surprise hit. Maybe it was in their native country.

I used to love their album. I hated the second. With that said i have no idea noite how i ever liked them. To be fair i never liked Barbie girl. But i liked most of the other songs. But not it’s all so cringe when i started getting into the big legends like acdc, Pearl jam, Rolling Stones, Beatles and many great bands. I just can’t listen to aqua now. It’s so horrible

@@riverAmazonNZ what lovely advice. My little nieces & nephews heard it somewhere and sing it around the house now. Their music just really appeals to children
