Eve was one of the premier female rappers from the late 90s and early 2000s. Eve along with Lil Kim, Foxy, Missy Elliot, Foxy Brown, Left Eye and Lauryn Hill ruled the Pop charts and has successful albums. Outside of Lauryn Hill and Left Eye's (with TLC) mega success albums that have sold over 20 million copies globally (Miseducation of Lauryn Hill and CrazySexyCool and Fanmail), Eve and Foxy Brown has albums that too topped the Billboard 200 Album Charts and Eve had multiple top hits on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Before Nicki Minaj ruled the Pop charts as the solo female rapper of the modern era, Eve was that "it" girl in rap. Her legacy is very underrated considering that she has stats that many female rappers don't have on the Billboard Pop Charts. Additionally seeing Versus award Trina over Eve in the Versuz Battle and seeing how Hip Hop award shows have never awarded Eve for her legacy proves my point about how discredited she is. Eve is more than the wife of a Billionaire and a host on The Talk. Eve is a Rap legend and the First Lady of Ruff Ryder's (label owned by Swiss Beats and DMX).
