He was later sentenced to a total of 8 months probation. He also had to read an apology letter in court “Everyone should have the right to be without fear when they act on their beliefs. I sincerely regret that I chose such a poor way of expressing myself.” ... He also stated in court that he was intoxicated when he kicked the woman and fought for a lighter sentence due to losing his job and receiving "international humiliation" due to the video.. He was sentenced in June of 2019.
