I know you're joking about Glorb being an award winning producer in disguise, but it honest to god wouldn't surprise me if they WERE a producer and ghost writer with a load of experience in the industry, with the Spongebob stuff iust being a passion project done on the side. Amateurs frequently let their audio get too dense or busy and it causes the track to get cacophanous (too much happening to be able to focus on any part of it), but Glorb's frequently using multiple tricks that you get taught when studying tech & production, with the two in the chorus being focused on Patrick and Spongebob's vocals. Not only are they an octave plus apart (in different frequency bands), they're relegated to completely different speakers, so nothing is trying to play both of them at once - this gives more 'space' in the track for the other components. There's also the matter of Glorb's release schedule though. From The Bottom onwards (the first song with a 3D animated video), clusters tracks would be released a week or less apart, then have a longer hiatus before releasing a handful more videos a week apart. It'd indicate that sometimes Glorb's doing their passion project, while other times, they just have too much work to do.
