Yeah it's not all bad, there are plenty of sellers in the Whatnot community that are legit, honest, good people. Are there lots of scammers? Sure. But there are scammers on every platform, marketplace, offerup, eBay, you name it. It's just about weeding out the bad ones. Idk this Haunter guy, but I will always stand up for my peeps on whatnot who I know are good 👍🏾. Hmu anytime on the platform and I will point you to some good ones @steady_rippin

I cant stand when someone sends multiple texts/messages within minutes including one message that is just "?????" After just a couple minutes. Dude my wife and I used to babysit a spejjcial needs boy and he made and played with better looking fakes than these LMFAO! I am 100% not joking and sure many of his cards were really bad but he had whipped up a few similar, if not better than those shown in video LOL! if it wasn't such a scamwich it would be truly funny. So wait they met in person to do this trade ? Or just agreed what cards to trade and shipped them over to each other? If they met in person did he not have enough time to check the card before handing over his cards 🤔 he could have just taken out a card from his binder from the same set and felt the front of the cards to notice how different they feel or at least I would have done that first. Also note meeting at night is also a huge red flag 🚩 making it easier to notice the card is fake. I need more info on the actual trade part, which is the most important part if you ask me 🤔

We did meet in person; I got fooled by him because I trusted him from all the good reviews he had on whatnot and offer up. I didn't really do any research on the lugia like I should have since we met that same day and believed it was real since he said he pulled it and had several others that he had(never owned or seen the lugia in person before that's why I had no clue until afterwards when I compared it to real ones from people in the Pokémon group I'm in). He did not let me take the card out of the sleeve since he said it's very rare and he does not want to damage it etc.

He had legit items that he brought but the stuff was mostly lower end nothing that adds up to 3.4k that I wanted. The high-end items he brought was the crystal Lugia and Charizard, and an evolving skies booster box that ended up being resealed a couple days after finding out the lugia was fake. I was kind of obligated to trade for the high-end items since he did come down to my neighborhood, but I wanted them since I thought they were real and untampered with.

​@@TooSlowbro8823I'm sorry you had such a bad experience my friend, I got scammed off of Facebook marketplace and traded a fake PSA 10 Espeon Vmax a couple of months ago, it sucks because hindsight is 20/20 but in the moment you want to believe in the community and honesty of others. Also, most of these scammers are rushed and rush you so you sometimes get caught up on it all. At least that is what happened with me. Anyway, hope you get it worked out! I'll definitely do my part and keep an eye out for this guy on the whatnot platform

Im unsure but on whatnot when you make a purchase you have access to a video recipe is this not a thing if they hide there stream? Ive never seen a hiden stream all sellers ive ised leave them visible. Here in the uk whatnot is great only one scammer ive heard off all the sellers ive delt with have been top sellers

These trash streamers sure do make it difficult for legitimate sellers to make a fair living. Whatnot lets anyone and their momma stream with no vetting process. I can’t stand these scammers, but the fault really lies upon whatnot. I’ve put 2 years of my life building my channel and every week theres a new scandal pushing buyers out the door. I’m tired of it. Hope some other company swoops in and buys them, runs it the right way, its going down the tube.
