I currently have two plow quads and they use Moose (On a 2003 Eiger 400) and Cycle Country (On a 2006 John Deere Buck 650) plow systems. Both of my current plow systems work great! I had another Cycle country plow that was well used and the push tubes were completely worn away on the bottom from the previous owner. When I was plowing heavy snow they failed! The whole blade and assembly pushed back into the front bumper of the 1997 sportsman 500 I was using. The push tubes turned into spaghetti noodles. Not a fault of the Country Cycle plow, due to the wear from improper use with previous owner. I was back up and running later that day after welding a bunch of scrap metal to it! I've since gotten rid of that pile of crap (Quad and plow) Don't ever buy a older used Polaris unless they are almost giving it away. That thing had so many problems.

Yep......great little plow. Have the same one on my Polaris 800cc Sportsman ATV. This will be my 4th season. Way faster than my Ariens snow blower on the driveway.

Hi Roland,I have the same Eiger ,same year, even the same color....but never had a plow. The ease of install/ remove & watching you plow is making me rethink that! Thanks for the tips!

I am looking for a way to plow my long drive. I have congestive heart failure so my walk behind snow blower is just too much effort. Your excellent video gave me an good idea of how I can use my ATV to plow and not find it too hard to attach and remove the plow. Thanks!

I'm glad it helped. Yes the ATV will be much easier to clear your driveway with. Good luck! Thanks for watching!

Great review!! I have the same plow. I had the "Kimpex click n Go" on my old bike and it held up for the six years I had it and it was nowhere near the quality of the "CnG2". But when I bought my new bike I bought the 'Click n Go 2' and I do have to say it is amazing quality and a well thought out plow I have a bad back and it really is simple to put on and off (I just leave it on all winter). Now the only negative thing I have to say about it , and I have read the same thing about all atv snow plow manufacturers is that the cutting edge (wear bar) is a real soft steel. I don't use the shoes on my plow cuz I like to keep the driveway scraped down as much as possible (paved driveway), my cutting edge wore a great deal in the first winter. So I went to my local steel fabrication shop and had them cut me a chunk of good quality steel and I put that on, and it works great and will last for years.

Great vid, thanks! How wide is your ATV, probably 48"? After using this plow blade for number of years, would you reconsider buying this size plow? Would a wider one, like 60" or even 66", work better?
@GettingItDoneRepairs Жыл бұрын
My atv is around 44 inches wide. The blade is 54 inches. That gives you 5 inches on either side. I wouldn't go wider.

Hi. I purchased this plow system in the summer. Mine didnt come with the first hook to pass the winch line through on its way to the front hook point. I notice that once you had it connected up at the front , you disconnected the first pivot hook. Why was that? Thanks for your help!

I am glad I don't have to worry about plowing snow (the owners of the RV Park does it) so I will show them your video so they can get into the smaller places that their tractor is too big to do. ❤❤❤😊😊😊

Hi Saucy, thanks for watching! I guess it's a warmer climate where you are? It's snowing outside as we speak. I like it. I guess it's all I've ever know. But winter does get too long for my liking. By the middle of February, I'm ready for some spring weather and seeing the trees bud. But I have to wait until May. lol 😀😀🌴

@@GettingItDoneRepairs I am in Kentucky! we really don't get much snow until January and February. But we havent had but just one day of snow back in November so it looks like a short winter this year. Where are you at? I am assuming way up North 😊😊😊

I went to the website, is it $297 for everything?
@fourbyfourer3 жыл бұрын
No, the price on the website for the 60" blade is $334.99, you also need the push frame $634.99, and the mount and hardware which is another $139.99 = $1109.97. NOW that price is before tax AND they have added the shipping costs into that price. I did not pay near that amount because I bought mine at an atv dealership. I hope that helps.
