Whats The Difference Between The BMW X5 and BMW X7? | Which SUV Should You Buy?

In this video we talk about whats the difference between the BMW X5 and BMW X7 and which SUV you should buy. The BMW X5 is the SUV that started it all for BMW. Today, the X5 is widely regarded as the best balanced mid-size SUV, offering high level of technology, luxury, and sportiness. The BMW X7 is the new kid on the BMW SUV block. The X7 has been out for a little over a year now and is the biggest SUV that BMW currently makes. Initially i wasn't very impressed with the BMW X7 but I've come around to its looks and believe that its a good looking car.
The BMW X5 and BMW X7 are both very competent SUV's as BMW has become quite good at building SUV's. Even though the X5 and the X7 are in two different segments in the SUV lineup, they are interestingly similar in many ways. One of them is that you can get either one with 3 row seats. Of course, the BMW X7 comes standard with 3 row seating, however, for the first time ever, the BMW X5 has an optional 3rd row seat. It present an interesting argument for those looking at 3 row SUV's because there is a significant price difference between the X5 and the X7.
Regardless of their size, the X5 and the X7 seem to be closely related on paper with differences that are targeted for a certain target audience. Thanks for watching this video about whats the difference between the BMW X5 and BMW X7.

Great video, answered all my questions and helped me make a final decision. Guess I didn't really wanna pay $9000 for the extra space since we're not hauling 7 adults all the time, plus the X7 looks a bit clumsy to me, and harder to park especially in big cities.

Excellent video, but there are still some extra nuances: the X7 3rd row has baby seat anchor point not in X5 with third row option, also X7 has optional space saving tyre not in X5 with third row option. So if you choose X5 with third row, then you probably need run flat tyres which only in 20", 21" alloy wheels, but not in 22" wheels.

In short, unless you absolutely need more than 5 seats, go for the X5. This is coming from someone who has an X7 and absolutely loves it.

I test drove an X7 a few months back - yeah, I’m not sure that the X5 has a chance anymore, although I don’t need the 3rd row. 😅. I’ll just keep the back row down 😁🥰🤩👍🏾

i think the open in the roof is an diffreint that u didnit meantion it , in X7 there is a secound open in the roof , exactly on the third seds , but in X5 there isnt

The different between BMW X5 prices ranged from 61,000 to 130,000 dollars, the X7 prices range from 72,000 to 140,000 dollars

Get a x5 with 3rd row seat much better than x7 which is almost haft price but work well as x7 right.
