Yeah, bring it on !! Wall colours I feel depends which country one lives. Cozy settings are ideal for colder countries... Wall to wall curtains is indeed class but now blinds & smart glass are taking over!!

Nice tips! That small rug and short curtains are something I see all the time and some randomly placed art works! 🤨I have also seen art hung above windows, display of all the souvenirs that were collected making it more like a clutter than decor , small art / photo frames on big walls , too many things on fireplace mantles , too big or too small furniture . I thought I was just crazy to notice them 🤭

Sorry for the late reply. Rugs help define the space and add coziness. In Kerala frankly it is not practical as it will be a dust magnet. Here we open windows only rarely. So dust is less.
