Well put, 👌. I have been a avid critic of wheel spacers. My main argument used to be "if it worked & was safe then OEM's would use it to save money. . . ." WELL, a couple of years ago, I that PORSCHE of all companies use slip on spacers! My world was crushed! Lol. They do have hub centric lips on them & they are just 10mm, but I was still blown away, and slightly disappointed to find that out. Either way, be smart & stay safe out there everyone.

Good review. In general spacers are not safe however. A high quality spacer /can be used/ and vie used some. And for the hard parkers. That's fine. If you are racing or road and tracking the car. I'd look at affordable lightweight wheels

Dumb question I have a regular spare tire and in the event of a flat how do I change it? Can I drive with spare tire on with spacer off until I get to shop?

Not a dumb question! As long as you're not using the spacer as a wheel adapter, in theory, you shouldn't have any problems. (providing that the spare wheel/tire is the same size as the flat that you're replacing.

Are you allowed to recommend what type of spacers can be used for 1988 mazda b2200 with after market wheels 18/8.5 with 40/18r tire size? The reasons for this the wheel hub of my truck is a bit wider for the rims. Can you let me know the proper size wheel spacers I can use? I don’t want to use no more 1 inch thick spacers if possible. Thank you

We've done a few videos on spacers and officially we just DO NOT condone the use of spacers. There are too many variables from sizing to material use that can cause issues with spacers. We would like to be able to give you a better answer here, but accurate wheel sizing will always be the way to go rather than trying to make a wheel fit using spacers.

Totally understand and agreed. Im leaning towards getting the inner core of the wheels enlarged to meet the size of the wheel hub. Cost wise to machinist is twice as much but safer than spacers.

What are you using the B2200 for? @@mannyjuta8810 If it's for the track, spacers are a no-go. However, if it's a street vehicle you may be able to get away with it. Did you check out Gingium's B2200 build? You might be able to find some helpful info in that series. Sorry we can't give you a concrete recommendation for this specifically.

well, it comes from the manufacturer, which is going to be better designed for use on the specific vehicle rather than a random one bought off ebay.
