I’m so glad to have found you! I have a chronic illness that will eventually make me need to use a wheelchair full time. I’ve been so worried about how I will adjust to life but seeing how marvelous you are eases my fears!

awww Im glad you found me too. I found it tough in the early days, but I'm happier now than ever. I see it as a good thing. It helps me last longer in the day, and i can get out and do things with my family. :)

I LOVE your taste :) sweaters are so beautifully simple and warm I personally struggle with jackets and sweatshirts because I use forearm crutches and my wheelchair tears at my sleeves but it's just a rental. A rehab doctor said I should get a wheelchair for when I graduate but my parents don't like the idea. Hate the misconception, your perspective is helpful and cool!

awww I used crutches too, they are a nightmare when it comes to big jackets. With regards to the wheelchair.I can see both sides to the story, and i think everyone in that position (myself included) struggles with the idea of a wheelchair. I have now accepted my wheelchair. I actually love it, I feel lucky that I have a relatively good one. I can enjoy days out, and go places and last a lot longer than I could with crutches. My life is a lot easier because of it. I feel safer and more confident. I hope that helps comfort you in some way. Happy new year :) xx

I love everything and dress similarly! Vests, dresses, faux suede black boots, sneakers, skinny jeans with fleece leggings underneath, warm winter boots (I need new ones this year or new insoles), wool socks, sweaters, and layering everything. What annoys me the most is my winter coat. It's so bulky, which makes it harder to push. I find my upper body heats up fast and my legs and feet are ice. I have a coat that's lighter but it's not warm enough for negative temps.

ahhh its nice to hear that another wheel babe, wears similar stuff to me. Its hard to keep warm, and the right temp all over. Oh no! I’m a part time wheel chair user and will be purchasing my first one within a month and I have a lot of skirts! Nooooooo, I will have to see how they do. I have been working in corporate world and had planned to work for ten more years but no, this has changed.
