Come on now, ever since the 991.2 911s the name turbo stood for the top of the range version of the model. You don't see a 911 Carrera Turbo or 911 Turbo Turbo, do you? I was slightly annoyed at first too, but if you think about it, technically it makes sense.

I think Ethan’s in the right here! If he was in the lane already, it’s down to the guy changing lane to look and indicate before moving. Why is the guy not already in the slip road, he was obviously not aware this was hit turning and left it too late. Keep up the good work guys!

Yea, that's what I thought too.. Ethan was already in the lane, so it's the guy who left it late to exit the motorway who's technically at fault, although if the guy was indicating, Ethan shouldnt have tried to pass.

@@owenporter1472 The question is will it survive two or three decades, new cars are not built to last, and if you look at what electric problems the E30, E34 and E39 have now and the engines are still good on these. And nowadays the engines are not that durable anymore, the M4's are most likely driven by maniacs so most of them will be crashed or be no good by then, then there's also a very common Brake failure with the M4, the turbos go bad and the timing chain also will go wrong several times by then. So I don't expect to be worth more than it is now

I was taught if it's a separate/purpose lane for the exit then it's a different road so it's not technically undertaking. And it doesn't matter if the guy was indicating before or while Ethan was passing him (and this could be a separate comment as a grind my gears) but just because you're indicating doesn't mean you have the right to move across lanes - it's Mirror > Signal > Manoeuvre and the indicator is there to show your intent to other drives that you want to change direction/lane. It's not as many Audi/BMW drivers think (on the rare occasion they use the orange flashy lights) where "I have my indicator on so you have to let me in." Causing another car to brake or change direction would cause you to fail your driving test so why is it different when you've passed?

Passing on the left lane: in Ireland you can pass on the left lane if the right lane in going slower than the left lane. This is especially apparent in heavy traffic. This should be the same for any traffic condition.

I'm fairly confident that the short dashed lines mean middle of two lanes so no-one has right of way on exit or entering to dual carriageway. IE you are welcome to give way to traffic merging to slip road should you deem safe to. On exit obviously if someone is screaming down the exit lane its both persons responsibility technically. Also technically sometimes the speed limits are different on the off/on ramps... I would quote highway code but after 5mins of effort I stopped. I'm sure more astute googlers would be able to quote.

With the Freelander, the hippo nickname is probably a reference to the old Freelander advert, with the hippos and Freelander both submerged in the water. One I like is FFRR or 'Full Fat Range Rover' because I think it sums up the full size Range Rover the best. Get that American shortening of 'Rover' out of here though, that means something totally different!

I spoke to a policeman once, who said the same as PC “S” about modified cars, he said they don’t tend to investigate them if they’re driving normally etc as a clean, modified car leans towards a driver who cares about his/ her vehicle and license, they therefore tend to be insured and MOT’d etc So, so long as they’re driving within the law they don’t pay them any more attention, the majority of them that they speak to (myself included) tend to be cool with them.

My '92 Cruiser was Farm Truck cause it came from a Farm and was old and farm-like. Mates: Hilux cause he had a shammy in he glovebox to clean it after every 18 rain drops. '88 Pajero was 'Ol Foss' cause it was a fossil. '96 Pajero was 'Clackerjabber' cause it made... noises. '03 105 series was 'White Knight' cause he got it while living away from the rest of us and he chose his own "cool" sounding name which is verboten but he got a sticker so it kinda stuck. '96 80 series was 'Shepherd' cause we made him go first to guide us through creek crossings.

Ethan it sounds like you weren't undertaking here, you were in the exit slip lane, therefore it is the other guys responsibility to check the lane he wants (yours) is clear before entering it. It's just that people don't expect to be passed that side, and so don't check that side properly
