I really like the campaign setting. A hopeless now win situation that is almost certain death for your party. I wonder how the campaign would have gone if they had rolled poorly on getting that note out to the outside world…It’s always a win when the players manage to foil the GM’s plan in a genuine, non-meta game, non-hostile way. Rekiss's player here. Man, I should *NOT* have written this story while sleep-deprived, and overexcited. Missed some details, forgot some notable events, hopped from place to place without any real buildup, and in general it's a bit of a mess. My apologies about that. Also, love the pronounciations in the video. Also, also, if I have to be honest... Wouldn't have done it if I knew it was gonna end the campaign. I had hoped to gain some additional resources, and perhaps people, in the next shipment. I was enjoying that campaign a lot.

I was gonna say, I was confused by the story and wasn’t sure how exactly the everything led to being so bad. Seemed like a lot of skipping and important details missed, couldn’t see why it was ever unsalvageable unless y’all play extremely hardcore and serious, which it doesn’t sound like.

@@TexMeta Well... It was because we ended up in a situation that was going to lead to a TPK with certainty. And after that, there wouldn't be any chance of having the resources for Toit to survive the winter, and everyone there would die. Lune's victory would be guaranteed.

So the players are level 1 in the current campaign? Something about this story seems pretty weird. Also, there was a ton of random info that had nothing to do with the characters or plot, so OOP really needs to get their thoughts straight.

DnD stories on KZbin be like: • 12 characters introduced by name only OR 12 characters introduced with lengthy descriptions including eye color and hair styles, irrelevant backstories, preferred cuisine, disposition towards animals and small children... • Only 4 characters are mentioned after this point, 2 of which are actually important to the story • Switching between character name, class name, and player name indiscriminately • Half of the story goes nowhere, almost no build-up to the conceit central to the story itself
