Hey... in the future, when you do Mega-stories like this, you might want to split them up. Although I've loved mega stories in the past.... now that I am here listening to one about an evil campaign I couldn't care less of, and it is complex, I am having trouble following. At the promise of a "Part 4" I actually found myself sighing and rolling my eyes, which lead me to write this comment. When you are connecting with a story and loving it, you don't notice the length of these videos and you want them to keep coming... but when you don't... it feels like a "I need to tune this channel out for a bit". Going forward, you might want to alternate releases of megastories like these with others. Maybe no more than two in a row. As I said.... I'm groaning at the promise of a part 4 and I am praying there are no more parts. However, I am just one person. The next mega-story I might like, but someone else might feel the same way. More variety will help appeal to more peopleand spread out the "Duds". Still, love this channel. Yours and another channela re the reason I started looking into TTRPGs as another form of storytelling for me and helped me realize I wanted to DM. I'll always appreciate you guys and gals.

Wild magic sorceress, wanted to cast charm person in a small room... had to roll on the wild magic table and hit the fireball... we were all level 4 characters. I died instantly, the npc died while running for his life, the rogue died also instantly, and the cleric managed to survive the blast but died because of fire damage in the next round...

I was right! These people are the final boss encounter!

Unpopular opinion but this DM is also kind of in the wrong for what they did, don't get me wrong I absolutely loved what they did but punishing players for wanting to play a game is wrong, so what if they wanted to play as evil characters? If the dm wasn't comfortable with it then they should have brought it up and if they players refused to change then stop playing that game altogether, it seems more like the DM was punishing the players because they didn't like the game that the players wanted to play, so I agree with the fact that the DM went a bit overboard, they didn't solve the problem they just got hella petty with the players which is never the right thing to do as a DM.

A very long time ago ATDnD asked a question about how often they should be trying to post new content. For what it is worth I am glad you choose to go with quality of the content released rather than lower quality quantity by trying to post every day or so.

It has been a long time since I've listened to this story and I'm still crying at the very end like I did when I first listened to this.

I lol'd, thats basically the equivalent of reverse-metagaming, doing something dumb that their characters in the setting should know not to do.

Im playing a chaotic neutral character, i save the village but the vault is missing some diamonds. I save some kids from a kidnapping from a cult but emotionally scar them with a nat 20 intimidate telling them to not talk to strangers. I do 2 parts good 1 part bad.

Gotta love that half orc racial ability makes them one of the best tanks 😂
