Hey Mike, saw you in Newton NJ last month. Loved the show, you are so much more enjoyable live than on KZbin. Loved the subtle Spinal Tap reference. Really appreciated your humor, humility and humanity. Come back to NJ/NYC as often as you and TM can, we have more than our share of acoustic guitar nuts to fill the seats. I knew Jump sounded different from the Rick Beato channel version, new pedal in action YEAH!!! Lol.

After talking to the sound guy it seems like i was sitting in a node or somethin, they offered to switch our seats but I didn't really notice any empty ones :). Was a blast either way! he wouldn't use a looper pedal if it wasn't recorded in one take, so I think everything we heard was done in one take. except that bass in the end, looks like it was recorded separately
@quincyfreeman29012 жыл бұрын
@@neon8068 right, those aspects are fairly apparent. I was more curious if what we saw was the actual take, or did he record elsewhere, were there other mics involved, yada yada
@artinmay20102 жыл бұрын
@@quincyfreeman2901 My take on this is that Mike sat down and recorded each track separately in a DAW, mixed the tracks and added effects. Once the audio had been finished, Mike recorded himself playing the individual parts in time with the audio but discarded the live audio. The video was then cut and arranged to be synchronised with the final audio.
