Thank you for posting this. My situation has been so different. My boyfriend recently broke up with me because he wants to go back to his home country to take care of his family. When I suggested coming to see him/try long distance for a while/potentially even moving to his country for a while, he straight up refused and said he cannot make me sacrifice my own life and career for him. He says that he is heartbroken and wants me but having the relationship going will only end in greater heartbreak down the line. I feel that if he truly loved me as he claims, he would have tried everything in his power to keep it going.

This video is spot ON! I was just talking to a minister friend who is surprised by my relationship knowledge. What he needs may be totally different from what she needs. And the line that makes me cover my ears is: "He should know." I ask: "Who told him? Did you tell him?" Communication is critical.

I listen to all your videos. I also been studying in the Bible with understanding this relationship thing. I do not know when and if a man loves or loved me. I stopped dating and been celibate because I realized I have approached relationships all wrong. So I’m studying 📚 relationships, healing which is never really done in my opinion, and just learning and understanding things. I’ve always been the experiment, the person that is used, manipulated, and found abusive people. I take full accountability for that. Which is why I don’t date. I’m intentionally single and just doing research. I’ve given too much too soon, and waited, and just been kind, and nothing I did to change mattered til I fully went within and with God. The way I feel about love has changed I’m a lot more reserved and careful. I love myself a lot more. I’ve done relationships all wrong. I used to say I’d never find anyone and it wasn’t for me. I changed that mindset. Especially through prayer. Now I just research, and observe, listen, but I don’t date anymore. Anyway, sorry to be long winded. I just listen to your stuff and it’s good quality. It’s appreciated with all that is out here. I’ve learned a lot through your content and the Bible.

I agree with you - I’m strongly into the Word and talking and listening to God - I have not dated in 4 years - I have so much peace with myself- I learned from the mistakes I made with the men I dated in the past they were liars/cheaters & we were just something to do - no relationship goals - I want a husband not just to be married - I’m thankful those relationships are in the past - now I know discernment and if a man is interested life goals with me
@pYure.intentions-ariona_lynn11 ай бұрын
@@shoppernista I can totally dig this. I agree I definitely fell into the category of just something to do. Something to play with. Something to try to break. I have moments of being angry with myself for being “that” girl. I want to shake myself like why don’t you love you more! But all I can do is move forward and continuously heal. I don’t think I have ever had a man that actually loved me. I can’t say I know that feeling at all. Even when I thought for a moment that they did. I’ve never had a man I was talking to ever love me now that I think about it. I’ve seen countless ways of manipulation and abuse, and the list can go on so I stay away from signs that I know and keep away. Even when I thought I found the “one” he persued me hard. I was minding my own business. I dated a guy that loved God and we prayed together and I thought that was gonna be my husband but he was still on his ex, never wanted to solidify things, then when we finally did he played in my face. I let it go. He also was honest and said he didn’t love me at all. It confused me so bad because he did everything that seemed like he did until he didn’t . At least I thought until I learned better. He was way different than what I had before, I had been alone a while. I dated him and he took me out on dates. He really was trying to be with me hard. That taught me a lot. I even tried again. The next one told me he loved me then ghosted me when I asked about a issue as kind as I could. That one hurt bad. Moral of the story, I know he didn’t love me. I never have had a man that has. And I wasn’t it for them. And that’s okay. Because I’m it for me. And I learned a lot of things look like love. Mimic it and it’s not it. So I’m just studying and healing. I wish you all the best on your endeavors. And I hope you find amazing love. I like to see people love on each other. It gives me hope on discouraging days.

It would be best for women to meet men with the intention of creating a friendship. Would someone want to be friends with someone they had to chase?
@sisi_zzz11 ай бұрын
Relationships are extremely complicated in this modern world. In my personal experience. Men have let it be known through subtle communication they are noncommittal bc of previous failed relationships and want to have their cake and eat it too. However they want you to agree to this “arrangement” that only benefits them. Unfortunately that’s not gonna fly with most old school type women since we seek stability and loyalty. On the other hand I know there are plenty of women that like having multiple options as long as they receive the benefits from these so called “arrangements”💰🏡🚙 The problem is these men don’t seek out those modern women instead they are trying to force us old school type to accept their offers. That’s why there’s so much discord between men and women to the point that women have completely detached from these noncommittal males and choosing to remain single!

I found a good man. He loves me but I do things that test his love. I have pushed him away. Now our relationship has changed because I don’t know how to love someone else. He takes such good care of me. He treats me so good. Without going into it I basically put my hands on him. I have never done that before in my life. He has been there for me. We have become like Best Friends. We live together. We hangout and smoke and watch movies UFC fights BKFC. Yes, we sleep together . We even go shopping together. We are both home bodies. He has taught me how to love and respect myself. Now I’m slowly learning how to love someone else, now. But I have lost his trust respect loyalty. I’m determined to earn his trust loyalty and respect back. I know it’s going to be a long road to travel. But I have faith in myself. I can do it!!! I Love this man! If you have any advice for me please feel free to leave a message.

Thank you for posting this again. I needed to hear the first part of it. My connection has been so hurt in the past/trauma from his marriage is so afraid to get hurt again so he doesn’t want commitment. He was married so young so I get it. I understand it. I thought I’d be able to see him casual and he knew I wouldn’t be able to. He didn’t want to continue to see me. I asked why could he see all these other people but not me. His answer was cause he doesn’t want to hurt me and he does not want to ever see the look of hurt in my eyes again and see me cry. Now I understand that now a month and a half later. One other thing I’m remembering from this video is communicating about issues important to me. He is not a huge communicater. He hates it. Runs from it. But he actually did discuss what I wanted to and said because it was important to me he would and I appreciated that. I needed these reminders. Thank you Stephan. I’ve worked through your healing from the past and damn was that hard. My person helped me through it. And it felt so much better releasing all that past hurt. But damn after that I stepped back from my person after that and wouldn’t you know I have to do it again in regards to him 😢😢

I have a crazy connection with a guy i met at my church and it's just been hell From communication issues to him blatantly ignoring my emotional need and refusing to look at things from my perspective Taking me for granted Not putting a label (said he has fears concerning marriage and all that and is worried of getting it wrong) Every time i say something he shuts me down with how he's always tired and would rather be doing nothing At this point I've given up on my love life because i loved this man Still do But have given up Thanks for the video

I just know that I feel confused with his energy and instead excited like how he was feeling even I really have love for him even until today. I felt horrible knowing how he sees us and I was actually thank God that I don't have any next chapter with him but only friendship. 😂 He is still consistently talk and care for me after so many years and I know we can't match for each other. We have to understand that you can love someone but not to be in love with them, because as for me, I know which type of men match who I am at my core. I am not here to heal anyone, don't simply take up the role to just heal anyone because sometimes it's not our responsibility to begin with.
