Also if we include other types of hurt beyond just physical harm, he probably mentally harmed people by threatening them with a zip gun, and financially harmed people by stealing numerous cars and crashing into a living room (which was reckless and could’ve easily physically harmed people). Speaking as someone falsely convicted who spent 1000 days in a Georgiaprison before winning his appeal, all I have to say is... yep. Even after winning my appeal, they wouldn't open the front door and let me out. They don't want to let you go, you're their meal ticket and bread and butter, and nobody escapes. I spent a month more in there before they "processed me out" by shipping me back to the jail I had originated at. The worst parts of prison are the noise, sensory deprivation, regimentation, overcrowding, lack of privacy, and poor quality and lack of edible food. A lot of trays were throw away trays, and I survived because my folks put money on my books to buy real food off the store. Real food being nothing more than Ramen, Fritos, and Soda. If you can call that real food.

As someone with autism studying for my Master's in psychology, obviously can't and won't diagnose anyone, but I can pretty much guarantee that Mark, absolutely, from over a dozen examples from this video alone, has autism with savant syndrome. His trouble socialising, self-control, his special interest in tools, not understanding situations, social and otherwise that neurotypical people would find him crazy for for not understanding, his lack of ability to survive by himself after escaping, the way he processed this all entirely differently than people would ever expect - so many things here scream autism and I'm really glad you mentioned it at the end, Andy. I love your empathy, Mark suffered so much for a fuckin technicality, and could and would have made leaps and bounds in technology development.

He got thrown back in just days after leaving? Because of testing positive on weed or coke? That stuff takes days to be untraceable in your system. Meaning he literally didn’t even have enough time to test negative. So he could have not even been using them and still got thrown back. I suggest that we riot at the gate of that prison to get him released because he doesn’t deserve what was given. Hundreds of beatings by officers, numerous accounts of SA and R, and even literally neglect by guards. And he’s still stuck there. The parole board should be fired and those guards should get punished severely.
