So true. last week i had to cut ties with someone who I thought highly of. she was in shock that I told her to take a hike. I wasn't mean or spiteful. I just said that she broke a few of the boundary's that were in place. the most important being 100% truthful. A day later I find a video about Sigma males. it sure explain a lot about me. I come to the realization that I'm 80% sigma and 10% alpha and 10% beta. the reason for that is that I'm a red head and have that temper to go with the fire red hair.

it's like when I ask my dad for help with something or a short term storage space for an extra vehicle I have. he doesn't have the time, space or money. but when my brother asks for anything, dad gives it to him without question. so I stopped going to see him. he stopped by to give me the annual $100 for Christmas and couldn't understand why I don't come over anymore.

You got it! There's two other points you might want to add to 1. They want to be absolutely sure there's nothing to be learned anymore from this relationship because cutting the ties won't be reversed. They don't want to be unfair so they question themselves until they have absolute clarity.
