I am a retired president from a red and Gold Club in Texas. I have seen people wearing this in public and I could care less. It's a damn TV show and it don't mean shit. I saw this video online a while back. The only thing I wondered was how tough are you if you care about a kid wearing a piece of cloth. I’m just a U.S. Marine and not a biker so obviously I’m not a tough or dangerous guy, but when I see someone wearing a Marines shirt that isn’t a Marine, I get into my emotions. It's shows like SOA and Mayans and whatever upcoming bike movies there may be that inspire the next gen of bikers, I wore a SOA t-shirt I made with an Irish bottom rocker at a HOG show and most patches asked where they could get one, that they would get a laugh outta it at the club. Of the the thousands and thousands of people there was a couple hundred wearing SOA vests and hoodies and all sorts, nobody batted an eyelid. Impersonating a club would be a no go area but man it's TV memorabilia

I wore a soa shirt while riding to a biker party and got questions and I simply said I'm a huge fan of the show. I was never told to take it off. Also had a hells angel that I talked to for over an hour about military stories, guy bought me like 5 beers and a few shots, also signed my shirt "clear to ride, signed and chapter" he also vetted me on the show and I guess knew I was a huge fan, introduced me to some other members who also signed it. After that day I never washed it, it went in a shadow box. Sadly was destroyed a few years later due to weather damage. But that was a cool night, I was respected for my respect for them and not wanting to disrespect something I wasn't a part of, but after offering to turn it inside out initially before being asked gained a respect towards me understanding what I had do.

I'm at odds with this one. On one hand I have an understanding of how certain things work in the MC scene and know that SOA paraphernalia is frowned upon, but I don't know if an MC member would've even said anything to that kid...at a gas station...in a car...without an MC cube. On the other hand I have a fucked up sense of humor and would have gotten quite a laugh if that guy took it off, reached in his car, pulled out a (insert MC of your choosing) cut/vest, put it on and said "what about this one? Some people do take things personally in the biker world. My dad (who was a Harley mechanic) told me a story (a few decades ago) about three Hells Angels in his garage/shop as he was doing work for them. He told one of them to his face "Your bike looks like a piece of @#$%!" The guy pulled out a knife and went straight for my dad, who reached back out pulled out a wrench & knocked the dude out. My dad told me the other two guys were sorry about the guy pulling a knife on him. The next time my dad saw the other two guys, they said the guy who tried to attack my dad was no longer with the club and "We never really liked him anyway."

I had a run in with a random guy like that over a t shirt a few yrs ago, I was just driving cross country, tired and ready to get to my destination. I was so tired and fed up from the road I just flat out asked him if he wanted to fight right now on the spot so I we can get this over with and I can get back to pumping gas he eventually backed off when he saw I wasn’t bullshitting. 2 things that will make an animal of any man: starvation and fatigue, I don’t know about him but I was so tired and out of it I was willing to die right there. These people should be careful there are people much more insane than I am that will flat out kill someone over even a minor confrontation. People like that will always learn the hard way.

they could actually change it to RC which means Rider's Club. But their patches are bought, and not earned. Everything is usually made in house for 1 percenter. But they don't own the 3 patch system because every MC in the world does that.
