Actually 5 Pandavas are the race of Suras (demigods) while 100 Kauravas are the race of Asuras (demigods).During in Dwapara Yuga,deities and demigods took birth on Earth for the seed for justice while demons took birth for the seed of injustice.

We still got almost 4.27 lakh earthly years when Kaliyuga reaches its peak. Right now we have only reached around 5120 earthly years. Even after reaching 5120 years in to Kaliyuga the vices of humanity are taking its form insidiously.

This is just the beginning. The length of Kalyuga is calculated at 432000 years and kalyug started after the death of Lord Krishna. It has been somewhere between 5000 to 10000 years since Krishna left the material world. It can be confirmed by the stones and artefacts at the city of Dwarka which was discovered under the sea near Gujarat. Things will get worse with time. People will stop believing in God. There will be evil all around and the last devotee of Lord Krishna will leave the world. Once that happens next Avatar of Lord Vishnu ie Kalki avatar will be born to punish and finish evil. This is how it will be according to scriptures.

It's not mythology first of all. But yes, Santana Dharma always was like this. They tell the truth but the statements and facts are multiple meaning. What happened with Parikshit gives us a brief idea of what happened after Mahabharata. It also describes how it's all starting. And it also shows how Kali can also divert our mind if we let him. Knowledge is important. Parikshit didn't knew what the crown was that's why he wore that. If he would have been aware of it before, he wouldn't wear it. Same here, If you don't know what is sexual abuse, if it's good or bad, what can be it's consequences and all, You might've did it aswell. Kali always tries to divert our mind. But if you have strong will power, mental strength and also the knowledge of what's good and what's bad, he can't divert your mind or manipulate you. Kali is everywhere. The Asuras and demons are here. They may not have that much power they used to possess in the satyuga or the later times, They don't have their physical form and ultra strong energy now in Kaliyuga. But they are merged with us aswell as God. They don't live in this realm now. But their energy can be felt. It's like Star Wars now. Join the light side, or fall into the dark side. They manipulate us to do bad things, they wanna take control. And when they do, Crimes happen.... :)

@@wanderlust0321 Basically, Meditation and the other activities helps us to be more conscious. People say Reading Bhagavad Gita will change their lives. But tbh, it probably won't until you understand each of the words wisely and apply the teachings to your life. It's like reading some mathematical formulas just to never use them. Or to teach trigonometry to a 3rd standard student. The best way to enjoy Gita is to do it canonically. We all know Hanuman and some other basic Ramayan characters who also appear in Mahabharat. I'd suggest, like a novel, reading the Mahabharat first and just when the Kurukshetra war begins, where Gita happened, if we start reading Gita and later finish the story with Mahabharat, It'll become far more interesting and you'll understand the concepts and mentions aswell. Otherwise the reader can question,"Who's Dhritarashtra? What have he done?".

It's like Kali and you, both are arm wrestling (panja) each other and both of you are very strong so no one is falling down, struggling to win. All it takes is one little push. Suppose you suddenly see your mom coming, your crush coming, your friends coming or something like that, and your mind got diverted towards them for even a second, you will most probably lose and it'll be hard, nearly impossible to do a comeback at that time. Here, the incoming people are distraction We say we won't see porn, but in yt, all it takes is a few memes to trigger us to do so and it's hard to stop then. Just right after doing the thing, you start to regret it. Like it's coming from your heart. Like krishna said, he is in our hearts. It continuously tells you,"don't do it, please don't". But mostly, we ignore that. It's the same for every bad thing no matter if it's just watching porn or masterbating or killing someone brutally. As soon as the crown touches your head, you're simply fucked. Meditation helps us to clear brain fog, and all. Exercise helps us to make our body active. And bhakti gives us the energy to do so. The energy, the hope and the will power. So that the next time your heart cries out to not do so, You wait and hear it's cry, like the normal version of Pratikshit. A true leader. And not like the manipulated one who is under control of someone else. That's what I understood from this story. And it can be more deep, but I just don't have that much deep realisation about it.
