I've been sorta guessing where books fit in place, it gets very difficult from around 2000's and forward. I.E. Remenders Uncanny X-force? Fabians Gambit complete collection vol 1-2, Deadpool and Cable omni etc.

my man! on my read through, i've been reading the spinoffs with the exception of excalibur and i'm about to start fatal attractions. will i be missing anything? i read the first three comics and it felt so off with the rest of the comics series, i just never kept up with them

This comes at perfect timing. I’ve been recently organizing my omnis to dedicate a book case exclusively to X-Men. At the top the Uncanny main series. Followed by New Mutants, Wolverine, and Excalibur. I thought about placing the new Captain Britain (Expanded Edition) Omnibus as a prelude to Excalibur. Something else I feel belongs in the X-Men universe is Ms. Marvel’s (Carol Danvers) Omnibus. It was written by Claremont. She is tied to Rogue’s origin. She briefly joins the X-Men team. It just makes sense to me.

What's funny is all 3 of those sat on the clearance shelves for months. At the very least though, Marvel should reprint volume 1 and see if the demand is there now. And then print a volume 4 for those of us who have 1-3.

Technically asgardian wars takes place right before #200, I would read #199, then asgardian wars. Then jump to #200 after Loki teleports the X-men home.

I’m reading Uncanny X-Men Vol 3 now, almost finished it and so far this is my least favourite. The first two I really enjoyed but this particular one felt really disjointed, and some of the stories I found drawn out and boring especially The Brood storyline. Also found the artwork to be not as good, I did enjoy The God Loves, Man Kills story and the artwork was really well done too. Maybe if I’d read The New Mutants omnibus this may have help, but that particular omnibus doesn’t interest me.

I think the Weapon X story should actually be read chronologically and I put it between X-Men Omnibus vol. 1 and volume 2. Then I read Incredible Hulk 181-182 the Uncanny X-Men Omnibus vol. 1.

Hey bro, I’m currently collecting Jim Lee’s X-Men volume two (I’m skipping Legion’s Quest and stopping after the AoA companion). I have EVERYTHING (in OHC format) except Bishop’s Crossing and Shattershot (I actually went out and hunted down the individual issues to each of those books, which I now have, but even then, it’s not the same!) Aside from going on eBay and paying $200-$300 apiece for each of those 2 books, do you know ANYWHERE where I can find them for relatively DECENT prices (in the OHC format)? OR do you know if marvel plans on ever republishing and re-releasing the OHC editions of these two books?- I know the tpb of Bishop’s Crossing is coming out again in a couple months, but I’m not interested in it, it would drive me NUTS if the majority of my books were HC and 1 or 2 were tbp because I had to “settle”! I appreciate ANY help, guidance or information you can shed on this!!!! Thanks a lot bro, any info is a HUGE help! (Also, it would be REALLY AWESOME if you did a comprehensive in depth review on ALL those early 90’s Jim Lee (era) x-over books (like the video u made for the shattershot OHC)- Keep up the awesome work brother!-Trent
