What makes it all the more horrible is that she killed a happy couple and down played the scenario as well as even having the gaw to smile in her mugshot. I'd definitely petition or whatever you'd do to legally get a law billed where people who smile about their reason being imprisoned in their mugshot should be given additional jail time. That's just my either radical or rational opinion.

Last year a rich kid killed someone while driving recklessly. No DUI, just reckless driving. Killed 1 person. Got hit with over 20 years in prison. This lady here deserves at least 15 years per victim.

3 Concurrent life sentences doesn't mean she'll die in jail. 3 consecutive life sentences does. If you get a life sentence then it should mean life but for the sad countries like good old England (which I'm embarrassed to say is my home country) means you can be released in maybe 10 years. That's not a life sentence BUT if you are given more than 1 life sentence that it should always be served consecutively.

Be that as it may be, when the person goes before a judge, their file including their mugshot is given to the judge and anyone smiling in it, especially with serious charges, it does them no good whatsoever with the judge.

I believe drunk drivers who hit and kill a person should be changed with first degree murder because of the Federal felony murder law, in which a person who is committed a felony and if ANYONE dies or is killed during said felony is automatically charged with First degree murder

I do not think that 1st degree is always the case in the Felony Murder Rule. And it is not a Federal law. (unless there is a federal crime that has the transferred intent, I suppose) Most, but not all, states have the felony murder rule but each state varies on it being a capital offense or not. That said, you are on the right track. Start with making all DUIs a felony and escalate from there. But I doubt it will ever happen. Hell, it took years and years just to start taking driver's licenses away from repeat offenders.
