I lived in the 70's it was a great time. You could go out at night and not fear getting shot. Real men settled grievances with there fists not guns. We got along just fine with out all the modern technology. We knew how to talk to each other face to face and had manners and morals.

Even though I was born in 2002, which technically should make me Gen Z, I feel like I share a few traits in common with millennials(though rarely), not to mention I was born just 7 years after the millennial age ended in 1995, so I did see the rapid rise of technology and the beginning of its influence on this generation but understood what it was was like growing up without all that new technology since I can remember it that well. I remember the days when my family still used landline phones in the early 2000s, heck I still remember watching VHS tape films and TV shows when I was 4-8 years old. When I was a young boy, stuff like social media and this smartphone stuff wasn’t much of a thing atleast from how I remember. Now granted I am a shy and introverted person with aspburgers syndrome(and also pursuing an engineering degree in college) so that may explain why I may act differently from most of gen Z, though not all. For a while though, I thought that you’d have to be born before 2003, but I guess it was buggy research later proven wrong. Even then, I’m greatful I’ve never been foolish enough to do whatever those people in the video did, so I thank God for making me that way.

I was born in the beginning of 2000 (so I'm 23 right now) and my friends birth years range from 1996-2003, which happen to be the range of ages I grew up with. So I relate a lot more to those people than those born in say, 2005. I think the range for cuspers here would be 1994-2000 (since the cutoff is around 1997 or so. I remember that the generation cutoff used to be different (iirc, 2000 was the last of the Ys but then it was changed to 97 being the first of the Zs) I always found the generation cutoffs strange. You'd think they would do 20 year intervals (so Boomers would be 1941-1960, X would be 1961-1980, Y would be 1981-2000, Z would be 2001-2020 and alpha would be 2021-2040) since that would make sense.

Sorry, but as a gen X, every others after that were loosing IQ Pts at an alarming rate. Back in the 90's, getting online, you needed funds and a brain. Sure there were some trolling back then too, but it was only a truly small minority. The net hadn't yet been controlled by huge corporations like Google, Facebook etc. No adds everywhere, most sites were put up by people who had a passion about a subject. Anyone remembers when you had like 10 or more different search engines, and your small personal sites weren't buried under thousands of commercial pages all willing to pay a fortune to appear in every search bombarding you with adds, endless lists of cookies etc. I digress, but the more people, the more toxicity and this misconception that behind a keyboard you are untouchable and can type whatever comes to your mind. I'm all for free speech, but that's got nothing to do with it. Now, add a generations of kids and young adults brought up with close to zero morals, common sense, ultra materialistic, self-entitled and centred as fk. And you get a twisted social setting that kids grow up and learn from. When you see the way those two morons communicated with each other...what do you expect from their actions? Zero pity for such individuals, none, just unproductive trash that needs to be locked up and be reprogrammed properly. Shame the parents can't also get charged for the idiocy of their offsprings.
