It almost seems like the cameras are making them act worse. It's like a defiant child who just acts up for no reason. In most of these cases, the officers are short tempered and aggressive, but expect the citizen to be polite and understanding and love being harassed by them. If you are grateful to be harassed and abused, then you're uncooperative and suspicious. Their behavior is generally ridiculous and contrary to everything we know about human nature. I can't see anything in the third case but they ram his car twice and then try to drag him out despite one officer telling them that the man was stuck. They kept up their violent abuse until the poor guy died. Jeez I mean can't they check to see if someone might be seriously injured before they get crazy with more violence?

There's about 20 different shades of green, but cop never asks light green, dark green, neon green, and after detaining this guy, he calls victim and after about 20 questions finally asks for height and weight. Now he knows it's not the guy he's detained, but cop is going to run with it anyway until he can come up with something to arrest this guy for to justify his detainment and harassing him. Terrible, shoddy police work. It's almost like they don't know how to do even minimal investigation and only know how to escalate situations and go from 0 to 100 in a couple of seconds. Then they can't understand why citizens respond annoyed or angry...I'm harassing you for your own good, why won't you be happy about it and let me abuse you and your rights? What's wrong with you man, I'm harassing you nicely, man. Please be my friend and let me search your vehicle and your underwear and ruin your day or maybe your life. Like what's your problem, man, I'm not trying to mess with you! Do these jokers ever watch their own bodycams? It should be required that they review certain footage to learn from it and see how different the truth often is from the info they give to new officers on the scene or to supervisors. That info when they call for backup or relay info is critical to how other officers respond, but 9 out of 10 times they outright lie or at the least exaggerate the suspect's aggression or belligerence and the suspect always ends up at hospital or dead when all the charges are dropped because they were innocent to begin with, but police just don't listen or use any critical thinking skills. It's all a huge waste of taxpayer money and resources and also negatively impacting citizens' lives and future interactions with police. It's a lowdown dirty rotten shame to put it bluntly.

I think because they immediately snatched her even though she was home and very cooperative. She said she was at home and she was a teacher. Nothing added up but they saw a black woman and assumed her guilt. It took way to long and scared Jasmine half to death which was all in necessary. There's a very good chance that a white woman in the same situation would have been treated differently because she didn't match their idea of a criminal.

There’s a video of in I believe it was Jacksonville Florida where this exact situation happened (except the suspect was running from a different kind of crime I think it was armed robbery or something really serious like that) and the guy who was detained handled it completely differently by remaining calm even when they handcuffed him and just patiently waited to be proven to not be the man they were looking for (he even filmed the encounter in a respectful way) and the kicker was he fit the description of the suspect EXACTLY (outfit hair etc) and guess what? The entire encounter only lasted a few minutes, there were zero issues (aka no yelling, cussing, violence, or other issues) and the man SHOOK the hands of the officers and thanked them for keeping his neighborhood safe by doing their due diligence to find and capture the suspect, ensuring a violent criminal wasn’t running around. I’d take an officer who will stop someone that fits a description of a potentially violent suspect over an officer who will see someone matching the description and not stop them for A COUPLE MINUTES because they’re worried about being politically correct and yes, that means I wouldn’t mind an officer stopping ME if I fit the description of a criminal because I’d rather be MILDLY inconvenienced for A COUPLE MINUTES than live in a neighborhood where police don’t do their job. If we are being honest, the same people thinking it’s wrong to stop someone who fits a description of a violent suspect to rule them out would be the same people condemning those same officers for not stopping this man if he WAS the VIOLENT suspect and he went on to attack someone else for their car/phone/money/etc then and they would say “well who cares that he didn’t fit the FULL description they should’ve stopped him because he fit the description enough that it’s possible it was him and NOW look at what he went and did because the officers didn’t do their job. People ultimately judge them no matter what they do so they may as well do their jobs to the best of their abilities in a way that allows them to sleep soundly at night knowing they did what they could to keep their community safe and I really think people should put themselves in the officers shoes. Eyewitness accounts are notoriously unreliable so “a black man in a green shirt” could have literally been a Hispanic man in an electric blue shirt for all they know so if they see someone who fits a big part of the descriptionhow could they NOT stop to literally JUST rule them out and send them on their way if it’s not them? To make my point, riddle me this, if your spouse/family member called and said “a black man in a green shirt just robbed us and hit me and our son/daughter and he took off running down the street” and while driving home you see a black man in a green shirt running down the street near your house, can you honestly tell me you wouldn’t think you may have found the guy you were just told about? I think humanity would get along a great deal more if we just took the time to put ourselves into someone else’s shoes to see a situation from a lens that is different from what is “cool” and “acceptable” at the time and come to our own conclusions about how we would handle that same situation if it was us in their shoes.
