You think the police drop everything and look for stolen property? or they continue serving the thousands and thousands of people that rely on them while trying to do that? Why the fuck did he run from the cops if he didnt steal his own car? that in and of itself is enough to warrant a felony stop with a guy acting erratically.

@@wildcat2405 legally you can't take your property back when it's taken by someone else, you have to get your all clear papers from the cops. This is to prevent the cops from beating you up over it in the process of giving it back to you. Of course if you tracked your vehicle, know where it's at, and call the cops to pick it up with you then things go along much faster. If the cops ignore you, then you still should report to the police that you got your property back so they can notify someone to not look for your car anymore.

It’s not that clear cut, this is honestly extremely confusing. It was his car, he knew he’d reported it stolen but didn’t contact the authorities to say he’d recovered it. So he’s driving it home and they try to pull him over.. but he runs ?? I don’t understand why he’d do that. They Pitt him and pull him out roughing him up for sure thinking he was a car jacker, he doesn’t declare who he is or that it’s his car, when they pull him out he doesn’t tell them he’s disabled or say much of anything… in a situation like that you have to use your words. Ultimately, this is why crime has gotten so bad. Due to situations like this there’s now just to much liability for cops. So cars are stolen left and right and in cities like San Fran people get their windows busted out left and right. That head slam against the window was brutality, I’m not justifying that at all. But like.. i don’t get why the victim didn’t attempt to help himself at all during this ordeal.

@@Eric_BassettHe had just recovered it, and driving home with it, had no time to call the police. Anyway, it was no excuse to use such force. His hands were up the whole time. Door couldn’t open, because of the damage. Honestly, u people will do anything to defend any police altercation. Just his family receiving 3 million dollars, says, that unnecessary violence was used against this person, and we are paying for the mistakes the police get away with, with our tax dollars. As a Nurse in the Emergency Department, l see the unnecessary violence used on victims that were handcuffed, complying, u honestly don’t know what’s really happening behind the scenes. Nothing.

@@LeSwexy Is that still a excuse to take his life? He had been badly beaten by those that stole his car that same day, you could see the injuries on his face. He was probably confused from a head injury, he stopped at the end, hands up, but was still beaten to death. It seems people have totally lost their empathy for life, and you boot lickers keep giving excuses for beating to death an innocent person. I just don’t understand u people, as Dump has said if he becomes President, anyone with a marijuana joint, some pills on them can be put to dea*h. Don’t believe me? Read the 2025 act, also the last President voted by the people. Constitution won’t exist anymore, no more Freedom of Speech, and you will be happy to hear, what happened to him, will be lawful, no more video cameras from bystanders, they will be taken away from you and your video erased. So, don’t mess with the police, they will then have the power to do anything they want. Even walk into your home unannounced, bust down your door unannounced, so, don’t play that music to loud, your stereo will be taken away from you the first time they receive a complaint. Media channels will be removed, also these KZbin videos, Auditors will no longer exist. All KZbin channels that are not Right Wing media channels, will be removed. Journalist who write negative comments about Trump will receive life in Prison. Judges, Prosecutors, Defense Lawyers who have cases against Dump will be charged with treason, dea*h sentence that will be carried out within two years by hanging. Even though they are lndependent, Republicans, President Biden, even though he has no involvement with these cases. Never asked anyone to charge Dump with anything. Even the MAGA GOP know that he has no involvement in any of these cases. Jack Smith is a lndependent and others who are pushing these cases are Moderate Republicans. There proof that President Biden didn’t ask Dump to be removed from any ballot, from Colorado or Maine. Dump knows that and so does the GOP. It’s been 100% proven that President Biden didn’t ask for any case to be started against Dump before the Election, because it would effect his chances of winning the Election if people thought that he was involved in the charges against Dump, he asked them to wait until 2029 to take out charges against Dump, but, they didn’t listen. I honestly don’t know if you’re a Dump cult follower, but boot lickers are usually Dump followers. Well, welcome to a communist 2025 if Dump wins, don’t believe me? Say by by to Social Security, Disability Benefit, Medicaid, Medicare, Veterans Benefit, and higher taxes and lower wages, that’s what’s written by the Conservative Liberty in the 2025 Act. Don’t believe me, Google it, say goodbye to……Freedom of Speech and being able to watch and say what you want to. Well, since u people kiss the ass*s of the cops, u probably don’t have anything to worry about, better remind your buddies who don’t, don’t want to see them in prison for life if they give them the finger. By by Freedom, and hello to communist America and a Dictator until he dies.

Um... WHAT??? So assuming this man WAS a car thief, they would've been in the right to slam somebody's head into the door, ignore his pleas or complains, manhandle him with excessive force even at the sight of him bleeding and in pain, taze him, put him in a chokehold and then blame him for all of it??? It's a thief not a dang terrorist what the heck?!!! He was not ARMED, he was DISABLED, he complied with what they asked and its practically instinct to struggle when someone is fricking using excessive force to manhandle you! You will NOT tell me those officers didn't see when he started bleeding. This is police brutality and that detective who seems to have a penchant for chokeholds deserves A LOT more than being relieved of his job I am only glad that the county at least remembered the man's family (THE MAN HAD A FRICKING FAMILY) though no amount of money will replace a human life. There is no excuse for what they did. My condolences to the family and all those affected by police injustices.

I do not comprehend how a human that’s in charge of protection can come to being in human, just being a predator with no emotions or conscience in regards to other humans.

The most horrific and disgusting thing in behavior is how after learning they brutally battered the victim, one of them says "Oh, well," like it was his fault.

The fact that the first thing out of his mouth was "SHOW ME YOUR F*CKING HANDS!!" is a certain give-away that he is not mentally or emotionally fit to be a police officer... That's not how you adress someone if your goal is to de-escalate the situation - _ -'...

"The featured video does not aim to publicly shame, ridicule, or demean any individuals involved or their involvement in any crimes." I believe the officers concerned clearly accomplished all of that on their own. Karma will catch up to them one day.

I completely understand that they thought he was the carjacker at first as they hadn’t been informed about him collecting it himself, but they should’ve at least checked his papers before getting all violent, it could’ve ended in a very different way. All of those involved that were trying to get him out should’ve been imprisoned, especially Blount. There’s no need to hit someone’s head against the car like that. What makes it worse is that he complied with them and did what they wanted, he wasn’t doing anything wrong and yet they felt they needed to be violent. RIP David, you’re in a better place now and my condolences to your family

How long must US citizens suffer these Nazi thug cops? What a moral outrage! And the SOB was not prosecuted. He should be in prison for life. How long must this go on in the US? If the law fails justice, then there is a moral law that should be applied from citizens against a corrupt system.

I called the cops 3 times in order to save other people's lives, and each time they tried to blame me, so therefore sorry folks, I'll never call them again if your life's in danger. And this is why I dropped out of college from becoming a police officer, so glad I did.

Former US Army, Gulf War veteran. Had I and my colleagues treated an Iraqi like this, the Army would ensure that we would still be in a military prison for a good twenty years. ANYONE who is a serviceman can attest to the level of accountability and professionalism that is demanded of us in uniform.

So very sad! It's always the same, no investigation, no talking to the citizen they have their guns drawn on, just shouting and violence. Not even one of these officers could have asked for the ID, which they crave so desperately, in this case? Disgusting, and I'm sure we'll hear about these officers again. They should all be looking for different jobs! Some of these videos are so horrendous that you almost don't want to leave your home.
