Everybody doesn't look good in their current state but thankfully there are plenty of ways to improve your appearence like exercise, facial treatments if you have acne, lotions and creams if your skin is dry or looks rough, we have rollers for skin, toners. If you don't like your self how you are, you can change it without going under the knife. I think telling people there are ways to learn to love themselves is a lot healthier than just saying you're perfect how you are because most people don't think that.

When I worked at a recording studio in the 90s, Michael Jackson was there recording his Dangerous Album. The room he worked in was absolutely littered with hundreds of drawings he made of...noses!!! He was completely unsatisfied, permanently, with how he looked, and no doctor in the world would have been able to make him feel better about himself. He was extremely unhappy and a prisoner of his wealth and fame. He had millions of people constantly coming to see him, but it was weird. He hadn't been able to do anything without being mobbed since he was ten years old. That makes you crazy. I think fame is the worst thing that can happen to a person. I met a few big stars, and money aside, they had no way to just do anything without a big problem. They could not go anywhere! Not the beach, not Disney, not out to dinner, not walk their dog...it was impossible. They were isolated and lonely 90% of the time. It is really sad. You do not want to be famous, ever!
@christineparis5607
@christineparis5607 3 жыл бұрын
@@prekrasnyymechtatel6156 I agree with you, with the reservation that, people like the Kardashians aside, because they would sell their souls to be famous, apparently, and love it, most people cannot really appreciate the imprisonment of fame until it's too late. The fun part wears off very fast, and the tedious stuff gets worse. Not only do people think you OWE them, because they are fans and love you, so you're supposed to feel tremendous gratitude, but there are the dangerous and unbalanced people who might want to kill you, stalkers who think you should be with them, and others who just want what you have (like agents!). You have to have a bodyguard for safety, which is awful, because they literally guard your body, and there aren't many good ones, plus you need to be able to get along with them, like a best friend, because they are with you in your most vulnerable moments, like in the bathroom of any public place you happen to be at! If you are out to dinner, having a disagreement with your boyfriend, the bodyguard is right there, having to listen to everything and pretending not to, but you KNOW they're right there...hearing every stupid thing. You can't drive your own car anywhere, because if people recognize you, they are liable to run you off the road on purpose to talk to you or try to get a picture. There are friends you've known all your life who sell the story of your friendship to the highest bidder of magazines or the internet and you discover that all the youthful things you shared only with them are now shared with the whole world! Often, a lot of it is made up, but you can't get into it with them, they would just broadcast that as well. Your doctor or dentist might take photos of you while you're having a procedure, and sell those, pretending that someone stole their phone. The list goes on forever...it usually just starts out with loving to act and work and getting a great part on a tv show you don't think will really go anywhere and you're just so happy and excited to have a job, then it becomes like "Friends" or "Sex In The City", and suddenly none of your friends act the same around you. You want them to be normal, but they aren't, they act like your from a different planet, they suddenly want to borrow money, because you "have so much!" , or they think you have a big ego now because you were too tired from working 6 straight weeks without a day off and were too tired to go to lunch, and decide to drop you because you "think your such a big shot now!". No matter what, you are isolated, practically overnight, you are lonely, sad and wonder why nothing is fun, where your friends went, why do you feel like you're being punished when you were so happy just a very short time ago? Suddenly, you're being pressured to change your appearance, lose weight, fix your nose, "get implants!" By your agent, or director, or by fans...your body is suddenly not yours anymore. You are told to have sex with the star you work with because otherwise, you could get replaced, and, anyway, "everyone does him"... You want to run, hide, but you just make the first payment on your house, paid off your parents mortgage, gave your siblings money to help them out, promised the charity you've supported for years you'll help them too, can you even afford NOT to do those things people want you to do? You can't find anyone to talk to, who sympathizes, who even cares, your family doesn't even act normal around you anymore, what can you do??? Do you see how it's not so easy? It is fine to make a statement that it's all their fault, but most ugly things that happen are often partially our fault, but you don't have any sympathy, just because you've made up your mind, without knowing them, what they deserve, and don't deserve. Do you understand that it is not always so cut and dried? I'm just asking honestly, do you really think someone should be punished over and over? Just because they are the big thing for a short time?

@@jamierupert7563 I am happy to say that it is NOT about me, only my opinions based on what I observed among the famous and recognized! I live in Texas, in total obscurity and in an old, old house with dogs and cats and great neighbors. I just happen to like observing peoples lives. Our next door neighbors lost their house in New Orleans when Katrina hit, and they REALLY know how to have a great time. All through the pandemic, they entertained practically every night! I don't know how they got so many people to overcome their fear of covid, but it was a joyful time every day, (and night). When her guests left at one or two or three am, she would set off fireworks to cheer them on their way. We finally got so used to it that even the dogs didn't flinch anymore. I love them. We had a tornado come through our part of town a few months ago, and I went out to let them know, as they had been having cocktails on their front porch for a few hours (or days!), and I was afraid they hadn't gotten the warning. They had. They just didn't care. They'd already lost everything they had once, and decided never to worry about it again....I was getting the pets into our tornado shelter and could hear them laughing and cheering at each bolt of lightning.... After it was over, they were still out there, happy as clams. People like that are wonderful neighbors! You can't imagine how relaxing it is to be around Texans! They can take it! I love it here! I DID grow up in Palo Alto in the 60s and 70s, and most of my classmates are the big names you hear about on the internet, but I didn't want that either. I wanted exactly what I have now, a great husband who I've been with for over 30 years, animals, a ranch, a huge, falling down, 100 year old haunted house, and wonderful friends and family. I'm very, very lucky...it was just dumb luck that got me here, I didn't do anything successful in my entire life, never even had a good job. I just knew when I was happy, and not to want too much i didn't need or care about.

From what I remember none of them looked the same at all. My dad explained it like 4xs. Then when my kids were in elementary school they had a teacher played MJ/JJ when they had a good day. Just the songs not the videos. I showed them videos so they can see the see the dances. I had to have the same talk with them. Then showed them Formation by Beyoncé. Just wanted to add a comment aimed at any young woman who is thinking about getting breast enhancement - just wanted to tell you that I went for a consultation with a very reputable plastic surgeon when I was about 19 and I was about a 34b bust size. There I learnt that you have to have them completely redone every 10 year's or so and when you are young you don't always realize how your body will change throughout your life. I decided to not bother and by the time I was 33 after having my 2nd daughter my breasts had increased to a size 38dd and I'm now almost 50 and they've stayed that size and it's made me realize that you should be careful what you wish for - yes I've got the. Bigger boobs but the backache from them is excruciating just holding myself upright! Plastic surgery plays on your insecurities . You are beautiful just the way you are.

This needs a part 2… I never believed MJ’s story about having that skin disorder because no one ever saw any indication of the mottling you get with it (I’m a 70s child, I got to witness his bizarre changes quite well). When it first began, at some point he actually looked more gray than anything. It was really disturbing. He went from brown to gray to the peach hue that whites have. And his nose! I didn’t understand him wanting to change anything about himself. He was pretty nice looking before he started plastic surgery. Then he just looked like a freak. And that’s true of all these people. I had the 'Limb Lengthening' surgery when i was 12. Back then it was called an Ilizarov frame. I had a Collies fracture...a growth plate injury to my left wrist at age 7. At 12 it was very apparent my left was about 2 inches shorter than my right. I had the framework on for 12 months actively stretching, then 6 months to harden, then a cast for a few extra months. If I never did this my hand would be coming out from the middle of my forearm, turned inward, and much smaller. It's still shorter and much weaker, but it would have changed my life dramatically from what I've had. I'm glad I did it, and I'm glad the procedure is available. * my scars are phucking crazy though, they're anchored to/in my bones. On my inner wrist the nerves are very close to the surface on my skin and bumping it can be excruciating.

@@dewilew2137 Why? What's wrong with sharing facts? Home births do go wrong sometimes. Why hide it and pretend it doesn't happen? It's like saying you can never do a video on house fires because the real estate market might take a hit after houses are "demonized". Sometimes home births do in fact go wrong, and everyone should know that before they make an informed choice. The fire video won't make us think all houses are bad so we should live on the streets, but rather lead us to install smoke detectors in our homes and blow out all the candles before we leave. Don't be so defensive. By your own "logic," scaring people away from hospitals by pointing out things that have gone wrong there isn't any better, especially considering that home births are not recommended in a wide array of pregnancies for many different reasons, none of them being that an interesting youtube video was made about their rare tragic outcomes once.
@QueenIrene4382
@QueenIrene4382 3 жыл бұрын
@@smittysmeee that’s why midwifes only do home births for patients that can have a home birth. They’re not doing them for at risk patients because in many states/ cases they’re not allowed to. In fact we know that when midwifes are used there is a REDUCTION in intervention needs of the patient as well as a reduction in negative fetal and maternal birth outcomes, such at maternal or fetal death.

I was cruelly mocked for being flat chested, my niece was cruelly mocked for being big chested. Some people are just mean and awful. And should be kicked to the curb and then ignored. That said, if you are suffering from problems due to large breasts, many insurance plans cover reduction surgery. I know three people who had it done because it interfered with their sleeping, working, etc., and they were extremely happy with the results. Good doctors are out there. If you haven't already, look into insurance coverage for reduction. That isn't a vanity thing, it's a health thing. I'm 60, and still flat chested, but got interested in running, for which I'm very suited by nature, being very tall and no breasts practically. I love running, so I'm very happy with my body now. I wish I had not agonized as a young person, but I did learn and accepted myself and found that everyone has different bodies that are all beautiful.

I also wouldn't be able to get the time off, not just from work, but also because I'm the main care taker of my mom, who has severe dementia. Additional to that, I have a horrible fear of doctors and haven't been to one in probably 15 years. So any surgery, that's not life saving, is out of the question for me. I'm trying really hard to slim down more, though they'll always be big, even when I was quite underweight, they were still way too big for my 5ft frame. I'll just continue living with what I was born with, though I so wish, that I could just gift them to someone who wants them. Who knows, maybe in the future we'll have the technology

She's right, these days, insurance will cover it because the reduction costs less compared to the back problems later in life. My 23 is having one done because she is too top heavy. However, I honestly believe we need to stop listening to what toxic society has to say. Love yourself. Be kind to you. You are perfect just the way you are.

Moral of the story, more than a mouthful is wasted. I like women with smaller breasts, the huge couches some women want to lug around are uncomfortable and dangerous to your back. If you have large breasts beware of reduction surgery, that is dangerous also. My sister who is 5' 5" had boobs bigger around than my waist, 35", (each one of them) and hung down halfway down her thighs. She had a few back surgeries to compensate but not reducing them led to more complications and needless pain. Definitely disabling. They called her Jugs as was her wish. Sad.

If you look at paintings of women who lived before the modern industrial age their breasts were much smaller. I think the processed foods and the estrogen levels in plastics have caused women to have larger breasts. I realize its genetically determined as well but I think being raised with our modern diet and the toxins in it have contributed to breast growth.

That's why plastic surgery is a slippery slope! I understand that uses for it for people who are massively overweight, or someone who needs/wants a procedure done to help with their self-esteem it's understandable! But all these people who are models and for lack of a better word look just fine, want to get all this stuff done because that's what the media says is beautiful!

I don't 'get it' honestly, maybe I'm just 'too old' at 35 to understand it? I've never _once_ watched a video by someone calling themselves an 'influencer' (who's entire thing seems to be prancing around self indulgently, usually promoting a false carefully choreographed 'perfect' image of their lives in order to promote themselves & the products of anyone willing to pay them/give them free things). I have no interest in watching what are essentially individual 'reality shows' being acted out (fake perfection, fake drama, fake relationships, fake jobs, just... fake PEOPLE who have used software to edit their image _so_ much that they're unrecognizable & don't really exist). And these are the people our young people are looking up/comparing themselves to. I only watch someone if I like their (usually very specific) content (true crime stuff, this channel, some Reddit advice stuff, art/animation, & so on) but talking like this probably makes me sound like an old lady.
