If you pick the seeds before they are ripe, will they still grow into a new plant?

I’m not sure, the seeds take a long time to germinate. If you can get your hands on some cuttings they are faster

It is actually pretty easy to grow, just takes some up keep to keep it from looking messy. We trim ours back once a year after it fruits
