Her biggest mistake was not telling her husband "Please be careful driving I have a bad feeling". I make sure I say I Love You and please drive safe every time I talk to my daughter because I have a nagging feeling of her geting into a serious accident. I have nevr had a vision just an intuition. I also know my daughter seems to be a bit of a reckless driver so I finally told her Please be safe on the road I am scared to death of you getting into an accident! Iv'e must of told her hundreds of times lol. It would be my worst nightmare with her and my little grandaughter having something happen to them period. I never want to regret not telling her.She is the only one out of my three children that I get that feeling.

I would have believed you. I used to sense/hear things all the time as a kid. Whenever my 3 year old comes screaming to me saying that she saw something, I ALWAYS believe her. Even if I think it's just her own shadow or something innocent. I know children are more perceptive than adults and my faith likely protects me from these types of entities now. But she's too young to understand all that. I'll admit that I don't always know what's going on and whether she's dreaming or not but I know it's real to her.

My landlord REFUSED to believe his place was haunted. He had numerous and I mean numerous tenants who'd leave in the middle of the night leaving all belongings and he just couldn't figure out why. He'd say they were just assholes for leaving like that because poor people behave like that. He was a slumlord as well as stupid. We had to stay 3 years because we didn't have any money to go and nowhere to go. My ex was trying to get custody of my kids and if he found out we were saying the house was haunted he'd try and have me committed and take me to court - again to get my kids. It was horrible. My daughter was constantly terrorized by the evil spirit (just became a teenager and was highly susceptible), scratches, very very large handprints and bruises on her legs etc. she would stay up all night, sleep during the day. However, I did find out I'm a medium during this time. Oh yes, the evil spirit possessed me once. It wasn't just us either, people would see me but I'd be inside when they saw me acting weird, moving weirdly outside. Our guests would see ghosts and would refuse to come back but not say why. Fun times. Had we been warned, we wouldn't ever have moved in

I've lived in a few old homes (pre 1900s). In fact, my family and I currently live on a very remote farm in a farmhouse built in 1863. I can concur that old houses do make sounds HOWEVER... the sounds of old houses creaking and settling are easily and obviously recognizable... NOT scary. Despite having only ever lived in old houses, I've never heard inexplicable sounds of walking or talking. I've never had things disappear or fly open or slam shut. The only sounds I've ever heard are sounds that sound exactly like what they are... small shifting or settling sounds, old heaters and pipes, etc. If it sounds unnatural, it almost certainly is.

The 'gift' can be a wonderful thing, but it can also feel like a massive curse. Mine was passed to me via my maternal side and has shown me some truly awe inspiring, life changing and wonderful things. I have helped lost souls find their peace. But I have also seen and suffered because of true evil and it stole a lot from me. Because of ill health, I had to learn how to close myself to my gift, which I do with around 99% success. My house is a very active place spiritually and I had to instill some very strict rules for the spirits here (the ones that are respectful and dont wish to be moved on) and we live in mostly peace. It took a good long while to get to where it is now. I actually pity many of my fellow mediums, that get this 'gift', because it can be an almost constant thing to keep the right balance. I had mental breakdowns at the peak of my 'gift activity'. I couldn't channel nor control it - actually not influence it at all and besides I was constantly traumatized back then bymy primary caregivers and am a neuro-atypical, so sometimes I wasn't sure what was going on, yet sometimes I got proof it had nothing to do with myself in some incidents so I started to assume that I must be some kind of freaky psychic. I couldn't bare it anymore to be so perceptive and sensitive, clairvoyant & stuff. It was too much sensations and information passing through my brain I felt like hanging out on a huge, busy trainstation / airport all the time burning. Somehow I shut it all down not knowing how - it happened and I thought: Cool, I've lost that '6th sense'. But now something has awakened it in recent times and I'm realizing only now that I might have caused the shutdown 10-15years ago - not: "I was liberated from it". I am unhappy and feel like a freak again. Can you pass on a recipe? I want to put it to sleep again. I can't handle this gift.

I’ve lived in two haunted houses in my 60 years on this earth. We just let them do their thing. The first house an old man died in my brothers bedroom. We didn’t find this out until after we moved in. He was a prankster. He tipped over my laundry basket when I turned my back on it. The second ghost was in the house that hubs and I bought in 1985. No one died in that house. But the man,Harry, who built it was kinda ‘caught’. He worked at the newspaper afternoons and every so often I would hear him come in our back door and walk up the steps and down the hallway. I had a daycare and at 12:30 each day the kids were either down for rest or doing a quiet activity so that the other kids could rest. Usually I’d be in the kitchen catching up on paperwork. The neighbor behind us was his daughter and she explained it to us. He also loved to drink water. Every so often on my kitchen counter where I’d rest my cup of water, a second cup would appear. That was a freaky one! We now live in a 130 year old farm house. I feel there’s spirits here. My closet was a birthing room for the first owners wife who was a midwife. But I’d have yet to see any negative energy at all. I did sage the house. I am pretty sure it worked!

I dunno why so many parents think lying to their kids, denying there is anything in the house because all that ever does is isolate the kid, and make them feel like they have nobody to protect them. I always believe when my kids are scared, regardless of what they're scared of, I will be proactive about it. I usually will smudge my house or use holy water around the house. The smudging (sage) works 100% of these time when my son has nightmares multiple nights in a row, then after I smudge, he sleeps like a baby with no wake ups or fear
