31:30 You're right. That's why i so long for good working multiplayer campaign for Napoleon Total War and its mods (maybe in Napoleon 2?). Cause in history retreats were really often, really often battle was fought just when either there was no time or availability to one side to reatreat and other sensed the advantage. Or both sensed that advantage. Retreats were a normal thing and battles were't fought till all units were routing, losing side were starting to retreat really early, if army losing army was kept in order and enemies would want to finish them then the rearguard and front guard were made and fighting retreat was made, often battles were fought for many days so for every night contact was broke and armies rested. Often retreat was made under dark. It would be cool if more of that kind of stuff would be possible in games. Leaves more room to strategy, to thinking how my army gonna do after the battle, it would make us take greater care about the losses. Now everyone watches how many kills he have. I like times when I have little casualties.

Ya ive always wished something like hearts of iron gameplay could be combined with total war style battle fields that would be an epic mix up

as the saying goes when facing Napoleon on the field. 3:1 odds- enemy has a good chance to win 2:1 odds in favor of the enemy - a normal battle for Napoleon 1:1 odds - Napoleon is going to win 1:2 odds in favor of Napoleon - you have a negative chance to win

I have a Nvidia TRX 3070 AMD Ryzen 5 5600x 6 core processor and 32 gb of ram I can crank up graphics to the max on all the stuff

hey thanks! You need to have napoleon total war base game then just go install the mod NTW3 on modb and then id join the discord linked in that mod to find games. Fair warning it has a steep learning curve

This is an old 32 bit game. It doesn't matter what PC you have these days, it will be more than this game needs. More important is your internet connection. Direct cable wins over wifi every time.

@@WatchmanXuk It may be old but Napoleon (And heavy mods even more so) runs pretty poorly, better than Empire but worse than most modern titles. CA never bothered to optimize either of these games so even my up-to-date rig chugs a bit and runs hot when I get into large battles. (Yes of course it still runs better than WH3, for example, but that's a low bar lol) *edit* Also the game did get updated to utilize 64 bit CPU cores, just not very well.
