FYI, the Trooper who asks Obi Wan for some money for a meal bares the markings of the 501st Legion. They're the Clone Troopers who attacked the Jedi temple. During the time of the Empire, they were nicknamed "Vader's Fist." Clones age rapidly, and this one was obviously a veteran that was no longer cut out for normal military service. The girl who offers Obi Wan drugs is Ewan MacGregor's (Obi Wan's) real life daughter. :D

FYI, the 3rd Sister doesn't have any different or special abilities that other Force Users don't have. The Force allows for users to sense feelings, thoughts and emotions of others. You see it with Leia's intuition, Kylo Ren's interrogation and even with things like the Mind Trick Kenobi does in Ep4 and Ep2, they can project thoughts as well.

@Jamal Gunn Yes and no. Sensing feelings is more common than mind probing. While many could do mind probing, it isn’t exactly something everyone can do. The show makes it clear from the start that she has a strong ability for mind probing and it’s definitely what the GI is talking about. Ren also has this ability. It’s the same way that technically the force can “heal” but there are Jedi who specialized in healing etc.

@Jamal Gunn Kylo Ren carried the new trilogy and was an amazing character. I wish Disney had had the balls to pull a uno reverse and have kylo come back to the light, while Rey turns to the dark side and joins Palpatine. What we got was ok, just dumb even by Star Wars standards. LOL

Besides the unintentionally hilarious chase in ep 1 I was pleasantly surprised by this show. Really bridged ep 3 and 4 perfectly, and i could watch Ewan as obi all day any day

Regardless of the cause, the severance was not necessarily permanent, and many Jedi often reversed the effects on themselves.

Would it surprise you to learn this series really hit bottom in the ratings for Disney? Not my opinion, its a fact. Disney executives and Moses Ingram blamed the fans for the low ratings because they were "racist" towards the character being a person of color. Didn't go over too well with fans that pointed out that Star Wars has had people of color in starring roles in their movies before. Of course Disney also took the Leia character and made her into a spoiled brat (played beautifully by Vivien Lyra Blair), and these two women took the spotlight for most of a series that should have been focused more on Kenobi.

It will be appreciated afterwards, just as Rogue One was. The star wars community is hard to please and you can't please everyone. Many of us just love more star wars content period. I think it lacked some tension because we all knew they would be okay because we see them in episode 4. Can't be helped. I thought it was great, loved it all.
