My advice: Go wrestling or similar. You need confidence to get respect, being somewhat muscular helps as well. If people know you can fight they get a lot more cautious and won't cross the line. If you are a girl and have the option ride, working with horses is great, if you can stand in front of a 500kg animal and tell it to step back you can do it to a human.

@@laurean5998 Bad advice. It vexes me that you'd tell a young female to learn to ride a fucking horse vs learning to defend herself. Standing your ground is cool...until they charge you. Then what you gonna do?

My wife and I, very average sized, adopted a child that was abandoned at our day care center at 13 days old. He became huge, always off the chart. Because of the other kids in the day care center he always had to be careful with his size. In 4 grade when the other kids found out he wouldn't fight back they started picking on him. He was already taller than his teacher. She did her best to stop it but couldn't always. Going to the school didn't help. I knew he had a temper and at some point someone was getting hurt. It did. His poor teacher called our house and said there were kids laying crying all over the school yard. I started laughing. Today he is 6" 5" 325 lb and wears a size 18 shoe. No one with a brain messes with him.

A girl in 5th grade embarrassed me in class once, announced to the entire class “Hey! Frisby is gay! Look!” while she shows everyone a drawing of Shaggy I did. The entire class erupted laughing, as it was just so out of nowhere (she even got lucky because the teacher had stepped out to use the restroom). I was too nice, so I didn’t say anything to the teacher when she got back (I put up with this kind of bullying and harassment from her, and half the class for most of the year). I grabbed a couple eggs that looked rotten from our chicken coup, placed them in a plastic bag, and during recess I snuck back into class (they never locked them, and most teachers were never there either) and quickly went to place the eggs in her backpack. I started furiously stomping on the area, picturing her face as I did, and left because I could already smell it (I checked before stepping out, otherwise I’d be in deep shit). The entire class stank of rotten eggs, and when the girl found out it all came from her bag she screamed and cried. She looked at me, to which I had the most menacing look of “Try that again” on me, and squealed to the teacher that it had to be me. No, I never admitted to it nor was I found to have been guilty of doing it, but she knew, and the bitch never tried shit like that again.

I wish I could have done something like that. I'm not a lesbian, but my worst bully had hacked my Facebook and sent both my sister (that she didn't know was my sister) and my beat friend long messages about I was in love with them. My sister knew it was a bunch of ahot for a multitude of reasons (lol) but my best friend didn't. She never asked questions, didn't respond, she just blocked me. It was her mom who started to berate me, telling me I'm going to go to hell for being a f**, that I should kill myself (this was also an ADULT saying this to a 16-year-old) and a whole bunch of other hurtful shit. At the time, I had long since dropped out of high school for being bullied, so I at least didn't have to deal with any rumors that would have gone around or the school expelling me for "sinful behavior" no matter how untrue it would have been.

There was a guy in my high school who was almost seven feet tall, a bit heavy set, and very smart and non violent on average. There was also a guy who transferred from another county who had been held back twice. He thought it would be a good idea to bully the big guy bc the bully was almost as tall and built like a boxer. After days of being poked with pencils, pen drawings on his shirts, and spitballs, the bully decides to put an ice cube down big guy's shirt. Big guy simply shrugs it out of his shirt, turns around, and backhands the bully. Audible smack sound, like if you hit someone with a fish. Bully sits still for a second, shakes his head vigorously, and without a word moves to the other side of the classroom. Bully never sat anywhere close to big guy again

For you youngins out there, take this lesson from these stories. If someone is forcing you to fight, you have a decent shot just by being determined. If you pull your punches because you're worried about hurting the other person then you are just going to get hurt yourself and get in trouble anyways. Don't rely on anyone nearby or authority figures helping out, if someone tries to hurt you then you need to attempt to incapacitate them any way you can, as quickly as you can. Edit: I lost like 15 of my first 20 fights this way, badly. Especially from 8yr-16yr, I was more worried about not hurting someone too bad and getting in trouble then ended up getting my shit kicked in.

One of my coworkers at WDW told me this story about one of our captains (who is in charge of the characters and their attendants) named Maria. Maria is a sweet, kind and loving mother/grandmother who knows everyone by name and always asks how everyone is doing. Back during the days when Tom Sawyer's Island was still accessible (so a very long time ago), characters would meet there during the Halloween parties. Maria and the coworker were on the island doing their rounds when they notice a pair of teenaged boys hiding in the bushes. When confronted, the boys said that they were there to scare kids. Maria asked them very politely to not do that and the kids left. Coworker thought the problem was solved and went to give Goofy's attendant their break. Ten minutes later, my coworker was still with Goofy when they heard Maria hollering "I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TWO TO NOT SCARE GUESTS!!" Everyone turned to look and the two teenagers were running away, looks of absolute terror on their face while Maria was chasing them, holding her radio and calling security. A security guard had heard the commotion and was walking up and the two idiots hid behind the guard while Maria was looking "like the Devil had come out of Hell to claim their souls". Long story short, the two teenagers now have a lifelong ban from all Disney properties and my coworker learned what happened when you piss off Maria.

little sister. quietest nicest softest most sweet gorgeous smol Hufflepuff you ever did see. someone was bullying her, and I didn't know. if I did, they would never have seen this side of her. according to her, they called me a slu*ty b*tch who was probably doing drugs and secretly hated her. (she was my favourite little sister, and I was a perfect teachers pet who literally had never missed a day of school) she snapped. now, one thing you should know about her, she used to file her nails to a sharp edge. she stood up, crying, and slapped them. nails dragged down their cheeks. blood ensues. I am taken out of my math class (no complaints here) to calm her down. she was crying, like full-blown sobbing, barely able to tell me what happened. their side of the story, she attacked them for no reason. obviously lying, as you could purposefully provoke her, and to a certain extent, she would just shrink away. now, I have selective mutism, and couldn't scream at them. this caused my other little sisters, to be brought (we were in some teacher's office) and they, in unison (Triplet perks, i guess) began reading what i was signing and yelling it at the bully. the first thing they said was, in confusion, "why didn't she just say it then, is she, like stupid or something?" you can guess the rest. fricking idiots.

Hello, uhhh so this is about me since my friends will NOT shut up about it. i found a care bear at goodwill, and was super excited. i love collecting old stuffed animals. so i took it home, washed it, and googled what kind of bear it was. turned out it was a talking bear but i assumes it was broken because it never talked. one day while in the kitchen i heard a voice, and went to explore and found the bear talking. i thought it was cute, and was excited because now it might be worth something. i go back to doing stuff but i keep hearing it talking. it would not stop talking. it wasn’t too bad, just “you’re my best friend!” “give me a hug and you’ll be my friend forever!” the first few times weren’t so bad, but as it continued i started losing it. i was on a discord call with some friends when i finally had enough. there was some kind of hard plastic thing in the paw, so i assumes it was the voice box. i grabbed a knife, ripped it out, and sewed it back together. i was pretty satisfied with myself until IT STARTED TALKING AGAIN. let me tell you i LOST MY SHIT. i have a pretty high pitched voice and i’m 4’11, so i’m usually deemed as ‘cute’. i was screaming and swearing until my voice went out, everyone was literally silent because of shock. i was going nuts. i could not handle how fucking annoying this bear was. little did i know, my friend was recording. now my friend has a recording of me losing my shit at a care bear. tldr: i lost my shit at a care bear

I still am the nice person, but I have a few stories on when I snapped. Pushing 40 now, but I can still count them on 1 hand. The one time the elementairy school bully was beating me up, I just defended myself, didn't try to fight back, untill I lost balance and he was kicking me when I was on the ground. I got so mad for a second i kicked him square in the nuts so hard he flew back a meter, fell to his knees, his side and just laid there in the fetal moaning. I stood up, whiped the dust of my jacket and loomed over him. When I walked off, suddenly a teacher grabbed me. and we both got into trouble. There was 1 guy in the crowd that watched that approached me afterwards saying that i did the right thing there. Then there was the time i jumped into a ongoing fight to save my highschool bully. Me and some friends where carrying another drunk friend, when we happened upon the scene of a group fighting 1 guy, 1 person in the group had a knife out. me and 1 guy I met that evening jumped into the group, caused alot of confusion, in the confusion threw that guy that was being attacked out of the circle and told him to run. Now we wheren't that target of the assault so the group didn't actually attack us, but i was so furious I was berating all 12 of them without using a single curseword or their person, mostly berating them for their behaviour and their reasoning for it, for a solid 5 minutes before just walking off. The bully never bothered me again and to this day, if I catch him in the street he gives me a nod, no words needed. I'm a volunteer bartender at the pub a frequent, loads of biker type people, most look rough on the outside, but are soft and squishy on the inside. But you know, people sometimes get into a tussle and I have to jump in. Ow, I might have forgotten to mention that I have PTSD and have a paralysing fear of violence, the mere hint of a threat of violence can make me feel stuck to the floor. But apperantly anger>fear. in those barfights i usually find myself in between the fighting people before realising i'm afraid and get paralysed right in the middle of it. luckily i seem to have earned some street cred with them, because usually being face to face with me usually defuses their anger, the other times it's the other patrons that see me in a fight and put a stop to the 'other guy' because they know I'd never start a fight. And finally, last week i verbally berated 15 people, my neighbours in my shitty neighbourhood, for shouting things at another neighbour (female) who was now scared to enter her house and called me in a panic. So I walked up there to get their side of the story. I asked and got 3 different stories from 3 different people at the same time, I immediately tought i was being lied to (I hate that) and got really angry, yet again furiously berating their behaviour, without cursing (I have no problems cursing, but when I'm angry like that, it just never happens) So I proceded to call them out for their "well-adjusted behaviour" and how I'm willing to overlook the noise complaint other neighbours are giving them (I'm not that bothered) and the frequent partying AND the drug dealing, but if we're going to be harrasing people who are just randomly passing by "we're going to have a really serieus problem, that's where I draw the line and if they cross it again, it's game over" And as I stormed off I added "and clean up your shit ffs, I don't want there to be any shit lying around for kids to discover." I went home (roughly 10 meters away xD ) played a videogame to calm down a bit and went up to try and talk civilised again as I'm going to have to live next to them for a while. First off, they cleaned up, there wasn't even a sigarette bud left and they where laughing about how I got angry, not in a mocking way, but in a 'holy shit, that was weird' way. and for some reason they have mad respect for me now because I got mad 'the all right reasons' and that I had the balls to just face of against 15 people who where all amped up on stuff. And when they said that my blood ran cold for a second, because I hadn't actually realised that I'd put myself in my worst nightmare situation a few hours ago

As a kid I almost never spoke, had few friends and was always reading. Some guy mocked me, I think called me fat which in all fairness I was. What he didn't know is that I had 8 male cousins and we would spend every summer fighting and wresting, we never took it too far but I was confident and strong in a fight even if I wasn't confident at school. I turned around grabbed him by the throat and lifted him up and slammed him against a brick wall. For further context I am transgendered so this was a fat tall girl literally lifting a male student by the neck. Good ole Nick never bothered me again. It was like a damn movie and I'm a little ashamed to say that a deep part of me is proud of having pulled it off. I was bullied for being fat in like 2nd third grade and by fifth no one had the guts to anymore. Turns out inheriting your fathers aggression is a good thing sometimes.

My oldest daughter was in 6th grade at the time. She and her group of friends had befriended a pair of girls new to the school. She'd had them stay the night and they were all cool. Until the girls began antagonizing my daughter and her friends for some unknown reason. These two were relentless. Close to the end of the school year my daughter was up for the Citizenship Award and was to receive a new pair of shoes. One day one of the girls said something horrible to one of my daughter's best friends and my daughter had had enough. Grabbed the girl and punched her. She lost the award, and we took her out for ice cream.

For a few years now I've had about 6 reoccurring groups of college kids calling me John Wick. I don't get it. It's actually starting to get on my nerves cuz they never tell me why they call me that. I didn't do anything to really earn that nickname. There was this guy at the local community college where I used to hang out in the cafeteria and he was being less than gentlemanly to a group of girls who were clearly not interested in what fertilizer he was selling. I told him they're not interested. Go take a walk. He got all jock-ishly hulked out and started running at me. I rolled my eyes and used my foot to slide a chair about 5 feet. He slipped on the freshly waxed floor (literally 2 damn minutes ago the floor was just waxed and super slippery) he slipped and took a header face first into the plastic chair and knocked himself out cold. I put him in the chair and folded his arms under his face so he looked like he was sleeping at my table. I apologized to the girls on his behalf and wished them a nice day, then went and got an ice pack for him and wedged it between his arms and face. I wrote him a note. "Your welcome asshole. You were going to either hit the plastic chair or the hard linoleum floor. Next time you feel the need to come after me, call this number instead..." I gave him the number to the suicide prevention hotline. (This guy was 3× my size. I'm only 5'6" 120ish lbs and I was only there to surprise my younger brother with lunch and low key be his wing man so he can get up the nerve to ask this girl he fancies out on a date. Little bastard made me look like an idiot! I got the wrong girl! ... Shithead)

My primary school had this kind of “big sibling little sibling” thing where students in the older years helped the younger ones. There was this young kid who had a developmental disorder and was pretty emotional who was part of this programme. One day she came to school crying (later heard her mother had died). Some asshole older kids (she was like 6, they were 10) came up to her and started making pretty nasty remarks. Next thing I know her “older sibling” in the upper years (she’s 11-ish) had essentially tackled the leader on the ground (quiet effortlessly she was tall and played sports, the leader was scrawny) and screamed at him to “SHUT UP!”. I think she had in-school suspension for a week for tackling him. It worked though the guy left the younger kid alone. You had to be a model student to be an older sibling. Good grades, well-behaved, good attendance. Pretty sure the “older sibling” had never done anything like this before (if she did I never heard about it).

In elementary I was playing tag with my friends on a wooden structure and my cousin (who was in the same grade and used to be a brat.) Along with his friends joined the game and decided to only chase me and somehow for a little girl who was not athletic at all got away from them and went back to the wooden structure and was enjoying my victory, when one of my cousins friends, lets call him W decided to sneak up behind me and push me as hard as he could that I almost ran my head into the wood but was able to catch myself, let's just say I was frickin pissed and I just turned around with a seething rage of passion and when W saw my face I literally saw fear in his eyes, then I just screamed at him and let him have it, I forget what I said but W was just standing there in shock and fear, then when I was done I walked away to sit and cry. And sorry for making this so long but I just wanted to put a funny story down.

When I was in the sixth grade, I was usually quiet and nice to everyone and was just a normal kid. One day, I had a question for that teacher so I want up to her desk. This one kid (annoying to everyone) was staring at me for no reason, *and I don’t take kindly to staring for no reason at someone who has a question.* So I turned around and slammed my hands on his desks, and said, “Stop staring at me and do your work, like a normal person.” The entire class looked at me and had this look on their faces. They looked confused and sorta scared. They didn’t laugh or make fun of me, they were quiet and confused. I heard news in the hallway later that the kid was pissed with me for embarrassing him in class, and I think I caught wind of someone saying that he wanted to fight me. Of course, he didn’t fight me, and all was good. I didn’t talk to him for the rest of the year. Turns out you can make people fear you for a while.

When I was younger I knew this kid (D) who was very....underdeveloped for his age. Small, skinny, couldn't really speak clearly, or read, write or do basic math for that matter. Because he often was bruised when coming to school, someone speculated that his parents were abusing him. This was like a nest of chicks - the bigger ones will relentlessly pick on the small one, and that was exactly what happened. One day a kid a couple of years older than D (and about 40 cm taller and at least twice the weight) kept going after him, making the 'spastic' hand gestures/babbling sounds. All of a sudden D turned around and just flew into this kid's face. D wasn't big or strong, but we quickly saw that he was lighting fast. Somehow he got the bigger kid down on the ground and then he really went apeshit on him. Ultra fast punches in the face followed by I don't know how many kicks to the private area. All while making these demonic high-pitched screams. The aftermath was that D broke his knuckles on both hands + some toes on his foot. He had to transfer school and we never saw him again. The other kid was hospitalized for months with a broken hip, destroyed pelvis (he will never be able to have kids or pee normally), and almost every single bone in his face was broken as well.

so i usually am a calm person, and when i got bullied my parents told me "they are bullying because you give funny reactions to them, ignore them and it will be fine" so, my autistic brain took this a step further, and now whenever i get bullied or stressed, my brain just stops caring more and more, first i just ignore but still emote a bit, then i turn emotions off and this actually worked, no reactions stopped them bullying me, except one time they got curious... they continued bullying me after i had stopped emoting, by stealing my jacket and shirt without me reacting or defending that moment i snapped, i dont remember it but have seen it on security camera footage, i picked up a brick, and smacked it on the bully's head so hard the brick broke into 2 parts and the bully got knocked out cold (no permanent or brain damage, just a fractured skull i think) after the hit, i picked up my jacket and shirt (now bloodied from the bully's injury and laying on the ground near him) and then went to the classroom and just sat at my desk without emoting at all, and it took a solid hour before my emotions came back and i got confused why my shirt was all bloody and messed up after that day, i never was bullied again, and i never reached the point of "emotionless autopilot" either (though have gotten stressed from school to the point of dropping the school year twice in a row due to the school stress also making me just stop caring, but thats another story xD)

It's always the nice teachers snapping that traumatizes you the most. I remember when I said a jokey thing to my friend, I shouldn't have said it, as it made her upset. She grassed on me to our "nice" form teacher, who, in turn asked me to wait outside the classroom when we went to form. Oh, it was like hell fire. She screamed at me, I'm pretty sure the whole corridor could hear. But she's actually really nice most of the time. Just don't get in her bad books. Also, in year 7 drama, this one girl was annoying me so much, I snapped and shouted "shut up" at her. The teacher told me to wait outside. Bare in mind, this is my favourite teacher, she was so kind to me, and the class. Anyway, she shouted at me, and I started crying (as you do, when you have emotional trauma). She told me that the waterworks won't work with her. It was a completely different side to her, I had never seen her like this. All our other interactions were really nice. I remember when we had to do a Christmas themed drama piece, and me being me, put some singing in there. I did most the singing as my mates are shy, and my confidence hadn't been shattered yet. Teacher complimented me singing and told me to join the choir. So it shocked me when she shouted at me. All because I told someone to shut up. What is it with teachers having an aversion to "shut up", I got shouted at in year 8 for saying it in DT.

I want to pay Darryl:s fees for damaging the wall. Class clowns/bullies get what they deserve. The problem is school's now have zero tolerance which is really unfair, and I believe to be a violation of the right to defend yourself. When I was a teacher, I really tried to end the bullying but bullies are crafty and also have bullies for parents, so they always got away with their misbehavior. But in response, I never "saw" what happened to the bullies when people stood up to them. Must've been hysterical blindness on my part. 😂 One time I did see a bully "trip himself" and "fall' into some school equipment and get hurt bad enough to miss school a few days. He kept claiming one of the other kids pushed him but, that's not what the rest of us saw. When I saw him attempting to bully kids after that, I would remind him to be careful not to trip into equipment like he did last time. Reminding him of the consequences of his actions quickly ended his reign of terror.

I think I was the quiet one who finally snapped but it was nothing dramatic or physical. I got a job in a supermarket at 14. There was a horrible girl there who did almost no work and was constantly praised by the nasty supervisor. Probably nepotism, looking back on it. Anyway, she always had something unpleasant to say to me, hissing it at me as she passed me. Then one day she hissed something I couldn't hear at a really nice girl who just did her work and never complained. Whatever it was, it really upset her. I saw her start to cry like her heart was broken. Then this nasty girl looking very pleased with herself, saw that I had seen what she'd done and started smirking at me then she flinched and looked nervous and scurried away. As soon as she was out of the room, I was surrounded by her other victims, all praising me for "looking at her like that". I didn't know how I'd looked at her. I just knew I was thinking about what a piece of garbage she was for deliberately upsetting a nice person. There was no comeback on me and the nasty girl always turned her back and looked busy every time I saw her after that and then she was just gone. Good riddance.

I was one of the people who snapped. I very rarely lose my temper anymore. Down to once a year maybe. That isn't even fighting. Its just yelling at who pissed me off. I was out working on rebuilding an abandoned treehouse when a group of 5th and 6th graders came back in to the area I was in. On of them ran off to get a cup and they all pissed in it. Then, one kid took the cup and dumped it on my bike. I had put a ton of work into getting that bike working again. They all decided to run. I did a running jump off this tree house, which keep in mind was about 8 feet off the ground, landed, and ran after the kid who dumped the piss on my bike. This kid was probably about 150 feet away already. I chased this kid down In only about 5 or 6 seconds and full on tackled him. They were all running at a dead sprint and I full on tackled this kid. Considering how fast I hit this kid, it probably felt like getting hit by a truck. When I plowed into him we skidded across the hard dirt for probably 5 or 6 feet. When I had the kid on the ground I could have beat the living hell out of this kid, but I chose not to. I had gotten the message across. The thing is with me, I don't go into a blind rage. I was perfectly aware of what I was doing, which makes it all the more terrifying for whenever I do go into a blind rage, which has happened only once in my life. That is something that for me is not a matter of if, its a matter of when. A few months after it happened I had talked to one of the kids that had been there that day. Me and that particular kid are friends now. From what I understand, It was scary just how fast I was running and the kid I tackled apparently had massive bruises all over his body just from me tackling him and skidding across the ground. The group also split apart not too long afterwards either because some of them didn't agree with the things they were doing anymore.

I was more quiet than nice. I tried to be scary where most of the time I really wasn't a threat at all. But one day a kid was running around pressure pointing people in class in a way that can literally be dangerous so when he tried it on me I scrunched up to cover it and told him to "please stop" Second time I just said stop really tersely. 3rd time I had the sharper type of a pair of kindergarten safety scizzors from my pencil box in hand and slammed them into the desk centimeters from his hand barely missing him and yelled to STOP. When he went to tattle after multiple students had told him stop, and the teacher had told him stop and sit down she just said "well did you deserve it?" After that of course people still tried to like start drama by spreading rumors about me that I never cared enough about 90% of my classmates in middleschool to like even hear get back to me, but aside of that no one picked on me again. Cause if I was willing to impale a kid's palm over something stupid, then I was "probably willing to do worse" and that was all I needed them to think. Although I think what really stopped them being jerks to and teasing me was just that they grew out of it and everyone thought I was like "cute" cause I was little and quiet.

I've had very few occasions to get extremely angry, though I do recall one time where I discovered I could make my voice quite loud: Every year I volunteer at a weeklong summer camp for pediatric cancer patients and survivors (as well as their siblings), and while the past year (and this year) have been virtual, most other years have had the camp take place up in the Poconos. Before breakfast and dinner, all the cabins line up outside the dining hall for the camp director and administrators to give announcements, with the director raising her hand as a signal for everyone to raise theirs and be quiet. One day, one of the administrators was trying to make announcements, but despite her saying, "Hands up!", the campers were still talking. At that moment I decided to shout, "HAAAAAAAAANNNNDS UUUP!", and every camper went quiet in complete surprise. The administrator even said, "Wow, um, thank you."

I have one. I called a night manager over for a talk about a supervisor at work. This guy I didn't know asked if it was okay to work in the corner of the room during our meeting (he didn't want to violate privacy or disturb us) and I said it was fine with me. I went on a rant about how he was very abusive and while the company had the right to fire me at any time, they didn't have the right to be abusive and make me miserable on a daily basis. So, either fire me or back off because I am fed up and unable to take it for another day. I was VERY upset when speaking but in a sort of professional way. Turns out the guy in the corner was the store manager and I had no idea I ranted in front of him. He said nothing at the time and I thanked her for her help and looked forward to doing my job without harassment that night at work. The guy wasn't supervisor for much longer.

In grade school, I preferred to be left alone; I feel like the main reason the bullies didn't go after me was because 1: I had (and still have) a voice like a foghorn when I start yelling, and 2: I was skinny as a rail, but much taller than any of them. Apparently the combination can be rather terrifying.

I don't want to brag on being a goody two shoes or a nice kid, but, I'm nice to people as long as they're nice to me. I used to be the nice goody two shoes but my breaking point was in seventh grade, when I told a friend of mine something confidentially, and told him to keep it to himself, but when he started going around blabbing and being all loud about *that one thing* I decided that THAT was over, and pulled out a blade, and threatened him. I only got ISS for three days because of it, but only because I had never gotten into trouble at school before.

My youngest brother was small for his age all through high school, but no one picked on him twice. He went berserk on them. He didn't start fights but he sure finished them. He grew 2 " in boot came and ended up 5'11" and muscular by his 20th birthday.

I used to be one of the people in this video. I kept in my anger for ages, and suddenly it will just all explode. I find that there are two people who bottle their emotions: Ones that are destructive, and loud, and ones that cry for a while and just can't function in any way. I was the one that would cry. I remember that one time I exploded in class, I couldn't hear anything, and all I could do was cry. What's even better is that my teacher gave me a detention for something I said or something during that time. I didn't even remember what I did. Thankfully my previous counselor helped me change how I process emotions. I've learned to be more aware about what emotionally hurts me. I've learned how to express and release things in moderation. I had a friend who bottled up things similarly to me, and he tended to explode on the opposite end to me. He expressed his intense anger physically. From what I'm aware of, he also got a counselor, and he was helped with that. He's a lot happier now than how he used to be.

Nice job on that one. There were a few reasons people didn’t mess with me. I was kind to everyone, even people I didn’t like or who I thought were just idiots. The teachers at my elementary school loved me because I was smart and did my reading. And I kept it no secret that I knew martial arts. I haven’t used it to this day, but it’s there if I need it.

My big brother is the nice kid - never angry, never upset, always polite and well-spoken and has an incredible amount of patience and emotional control The closest thing I’ve ever seen to him being genuinely angry was when he told me he thought about yelling at an abusive friend of mine to stay away from me (I cut off communication with said friend after this btw) I look forward to the day he loses his everloving mind at someone (preferably not at yours truly, aka his beloved dumbass of a little sister) because my god it will be gloriously horrifying

My older sister used to bully me and hit my entire life, i was a shy quiet kid who wouldn't even speak infront of strangers, when i hit puberty she tried to hit me at some point and the inner caveman DNA in me bubbled up and i just swung at her and her face was just of shock and regret, i didn't even register what I'd done but when reality hit me i felt really bad and guilty about it. Mum had to have a word with both of us about gender differences, and we're best friends now

I was the one who snapped. My 30-year old brother liked to call / text me or our mom out of the blue and spam us with walls of leftist talking points (we're both conservatives), and he had done so for the last year and a half. A few months ago, I overheard him call up Mom to "talk", and a short ways into the "talk", he tried to use his unborn daughter as emotional leverage, to cow Mom into agreeing with him. Yes, "Agree with me, or you can't see your granddaughter." After he finally hung up, Mom broke down and cried. Now, I'm an extremely passive person. I've had similar "talks" with him over text more than a few times. I've tried to answer his talking points in good faith; I've let him berate me, insult me, call me every "ist" in the book with little to no return fire; but seeing somebody else go through that, made me realize that enough was enough. Later that night, I called him up, and just went the fuck off on him. I let him know that I'm fucking sick of his attitude, that he makes it impossible for me to not hate him, and that I feel bad for his daughter. He then launched into a sermon so condescending, so self-righteous, and so self-absorbed, that he never noticed I had put the phone down to do laundry. Needless to say, I no longer have a brother.

the Samoan kid from the 2nd one, you'd have to be crazy/ & or suicidal to start shit w/ a Samoan. as a kid, I knew a Samoan. super nice guy, but an absolute beast physically. at 15 he could buy beer from the corner liquor store no problem, they confused him w/ his older brothers or cousins. I had a 6 seater car (bench seat up front), & he would take up both the front passenger seat & the middle seat, barely fitting. my car would actually ride at severely sunken angle when he was a passenger from his weight. it sounds like I'm just describing a massively obese person, but it was more like muscle layered w/ fat layered w/ more muscle

I’m the nice kid. Grew up on a ranch and if you did anything wrong home or school you needed to hide from family to stop a beating. So I’m a bookworm and I always greet and become friends with new kids until they find their feet at the school and normally I just end up being bullied by people I’ve helped. This was in second grade with my only friend and I wanting to play by the few trees in our school’s playground. At the time under the trees was the quietest place on the grounds and I helped my friend with his reading. But one day as my friend and I make our way over to the trees a kid ( let’s call him o)I help in 1st grade stopped us and started to shove us around we left for the time being but after a few minutes of o watching us from under the tree keeping us away and in the loudest part of the grounds I remember giving the book I held to my friend and just walking up and punching o right in the nose. I got in trouble, i had to call home to my mother which was bad enough, but for o he left that year he never bothered us after that. I forgot about it until m friend brought it up that’s when I learned that I had broke o’s nose and my mother stated that It could have been worst if I had been in full rage but after that I keep more to my self and hide my feelings because of bullies in my class. I have won the title for three things in my class by the teachers. 1. Class bookworm. 2. The quiet kid. And 3. The nice kid. And my mother was proud of me for standing up for myself so I saw it as a total win on my part. Sorry for grammar and spelling

I was the nice person in this situation. I was usually pretty shy and introverted so I just let everyone do their own thing and doesn't really interfere with anyone. But there was this one really annoying kid in my 8th grade science class that sat 2 seats to the left of me. So one day we were learning about sandhill cranes and my teacher was explaining about how they're an endangered species. Annoying kid piped up and said 'so it's a Ukraine.' My favorite person lived in Ukraine and got killed via a Russian airstrike about 2 weeks prior to this incident, and I was still a little fricked up, so obviously I had lost my cool. Since I'm too introverted, I just gave him the death stare, even when internally I wanted to throw a chair at this little demon child. My friend who sat between me and the annoying kid whispered about what this kid had said, even though I heard him. My teacher noticed how I was plotting this kid's death and told us to keep it down because it was "Bad manners." What. The. Frick.

I was definitely the quiet shy kid in high school. The only time when I could really say that I got really upset was when a teacher got upset with me for already knowing how to do something she was trying to teach It was a really small school for kids with learning disabilities. It was normal for some teachers to feel the students were stupid and take longer to go over a lesson then they needed to or go over something we should have at an earlier grade. For some reason, this English teacher decided that a bunch of 11th graders needed to know how to do a proper letter. I’d already gotten that lesson at my previous school in the fourth grade. I sat in the back and didn’t think it would matter if I did the whole assignment on my own. She saw and angrily asked who’d already thought me this. I’d been already been angry about another encounter with the same teacher so anger about both came up and said “the Wetumpka school system” really angrily. She didn’t say anything to me for the next week.

I was the shy kid at school and I was bullied everyday for being overweight I was always told by my family I was built like a German tank ( I'm a girl so that hurt ) . I never stood up for myself one one of class mates came to school with her arm in a sling she had been bitten by an adder while on school break the bully of our year was being cruel and picking on her for bruising on her body calling her names he was twice her size she was really quite a small girl. so without thinking I walked up behind him and grabbed round the neck with my arm and put him in a choke hold he went purple and nearly blacked out while I told him what a prick he was . Then I let him go and he and everyone else left me alone after that . I was an outdoorsy girl I was not fat just very well built lol

When I was in high school I had a few friends that lived in our neighborhood that were also my sisters friends. We had a sweet "kid sister" friend we called her peanut cuz shes so little yet so sweet she was constantly getting harrassed by a couple of assholes on the bus for no reason. As a group we would all sound off in unison for them to STFU!! Well they did stop until the rest of us got off, turns out they were the last ones to get off and so was my friend. They would harass her when we got off and she finally told us. My sister finally snapped one day and pulled the biggest one out of the bus by his belt and proceeded to beat the crap out of him leaving a red welt on his face a black eye and a pair of sore balls til I tried to break it off by calling my step dad. Also our neighbor who was a big tall yet sweet guy picked him up and held his hand up to my sister for her to stop. Saying hes had enough now go home. He looked at the bully and told him if your friend and you do this shit again I'll finish the both of you and he dropped him and yelled at him "you better run on home muthaf*ka". Turns out he was my brother childhood friend and was asked by my brother to watch over us for years. He was a gentle giant. And my sister was a badass amazon lol. I have anxiety and cant handle confrontation or violence, I tend to panic and curl up. As a big sister I did the best I could to settle the matter. Things have changed for peanut since that day we remained friends for years until she moved due to her parents divorce. I still miss her.

One time me and my best friend were in class. ( She is the only person who has seen me really angry ) but the class douche was just making trouble. She was sitting next to me and he was sitting in front of me. I don't really remember what he said but it just pissed me off. My best friend grabbed my leg and gave me this look like "you okay?" But I was just do pissed off that I grabbed his plastic water bottle and squeezed it all over him. The whole class stared at me like wtf. He never really messed with me after that.

22:48, the company needed to have its management removed, beginning with Tom. Also, what Tom did not only violated all sorts of company and corporate policy, but it also violated her privacy, as well as the law in various jurisdictional levels numerous times, and she should have sued the cops AND the company, INCLUDING Tom, for what they made her go through in her life. Also, OP, just because a woman has been stalked by a man does not mean that the project manager, who is a male, is going to be a threat to her, so your sexism is honestly just as evil and toxic as the people that were after the woman.

When she snapped, it was less anger and more sadness, she was upset because all her friends expected her to be there for her whenever they needed her but because of this, it added to her stress and one day I saw her pacing around, freaking out, trying her best to stay calm and collected, of course when I walked in, I started talking to her, eventually she just ended up crying and resting her head on my shoulder while telling me all her problems, when she finished I told her “There’s one common thing wrong with all of these problems” when she asked me what it was I told her “They’re not your problems, if your friends are suicidal, you can’t save them, you can help them to their feet but it’s up to them to continue walking, if your family is over relying on you then don’t just take it, try to get them to understand what’s going on, and if your boyfriend is being too clingy, take a little break from each other, you don’t have to break up but don’t spend as much time with each other.” Her main focus was her suicidal friends so she asked me “So, you just expect me to watch my friends die in front of me?” All I could say was “You’re there to help them, but at the end of the day you can’t choose for them, you can’t make them live nor can you force them to die, all you can do is advise them on what you feel they should do,” and she asked “But what if that’s not enough?” I said this, and I know it’s gonna sound harsh, and cruel and very very disrespectful, but here it is; “If they still think that death is their best option, then they were too weak to live in this world in the first place, life is a big marathon run, and only the strongest have what it takes to make it to the end, you can help those who are struggling but if they choose to quit, then it means they weren’t strong enough.” This is coming from a person who once thought suicide was a good option

I had a friend that I grew up with in school. Huge guy...but was also one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. His dad abused him verbally and physically for most of his childhood so he had major self esteem issues. After we graduated he fell in love with a girl and married her. They had 2 kids together and he was the happiest he'd ever been in his life. One day he came home and found his wife with another guy in bed. Later that night he shot himself in the head with a shotgun. Now his brother is raising his kids along with his own.
