Gotta watch it though, go too hard on that and you’ll lose ‘em. As a guy, if a woman is clearly trying to act busy (and usually they are), I’m taking it as a sign of disinterest and I peace out. The last thing a woman should do is play it too cool. Obviously don’t blow my phone up, but take some initiative. We’re judging women on that because no guy likes to carry the burden of constantly initiating contact. It’s a lose-lose. If a woman really is throwing herself at someone, it isn’t gonna hurt her socially like it’d hurt a guy doing the same.

I thought this was a skit but this is just literally what it's like. Imagine trying to take an advanced calculus test and every 15 to 30 seconds your phone is going off with an endless topic that's just going to be an ongoing nothing dialogue. That's me, every day. I was talking to a girl for a week like this and I just asked her when she was free. Oh family's in town. Oh gotta cancel I have work. Oh I'm kind of busy that day it's not optimal. Like b, it's a 30 minute meet to talk over coffee to see if we're compatible. It's not a lord of the rings director's cut interview. Somehow girls get even WORSE with age about this. I thought it would be better. Nope. They're also doing office work and somehow they have time to chit chat all day with these endless tasks. I don't mind chit chat in general when you can like take a break and get back to it but it turns into this passive aggressive like I took 4 hours to respond because I was in a 4 hour meeting, now I'm going to take 4 hours to tell you which restaurant we're going to meet at. Uh oh you took 15 minutes on top of my 4 hour response, that means we don't have enough time to meet so the entire night is cancelled. When it's just a text message, you have no idea what the other person's doing. You're just ambushing them on a device just like you see in this video. Stop what you're doing, turn, pick up your phone, type at 1/4 speed, set down, turn, get back to work. Guess what, setting it down and turning takes 15 seconds. It's time for the next text. At least with IM, you can see if people are AFK or offline or whatever. and it's easier to alt tab to something on the same device and keep typing.

He's a great guy. I wouldn't have responded during work.

He answered faster than I would, and his second text was longer than I'd have sent. How do you nicely convey I'm busy working and I have a deadline?

Nicki I honestly feel like you’re perfect in my eyes in every way and I watch you every day cuz it makes me feel better …damn I wish I knew you in person

I guess this is how most relationships are. I behave like this, but when I meet my significant other I cannot stop looking away and being there at that moment. Guys are bad at expressing when they are at a distance. Doesn't mean they don't love you, they just suck at expressing

I have LITERALLY had this conversation, although I wasn't admittely married to the woman. This is beyond accurate to me. It's disturbing 😱
