When i get a new knife

Hi guys! I get a lot of knives sent to me (obviously). Here are some things that happen when I get a new knife, featuring the QSP Knife unicorn.🦄 This is a budget-friendly ($69-70) button lock that was recently released. It has three different deployment mechanisms (you can open it with the button, the flipper tab, or the cut out along the top of the blade that you can use your finger to flick open). It features a straight back blade shape which is pretty unique for a pocket knife. though this is not my preferred shape for edc task, I really like the silhouette it creates and it might just take some getting used to. it comes in four different color variants but I really like the purple liners and how they look against the black. It has Sandvik 14C28N steel, which is an excellent budget steel that’s tough, easy-to-sharpen, and resistant to rust. The knife life. Pretty similar, except my nightstand is my "rotation table"---I decide what to carry that day based on what I'm wearing, what I'm doing, and where I'm going that day.

Yes Melissa, I too am left handed. It still is a right handed world. It has always been a struggle to find products that are ambi & that will work comfortable for me. Fortunately it is getting better with more ambi products on the rise. Keep up the great vids. 🌹💖

Left handed too... what would you say the ratio of ambidextrous to right only is? Hmm. I agree they have been more selection lately, but some of the favorite edc ones are right only, but getting used to them backwards in the pocket. One folder I got rowdy with and machined and tapped it so it would be lefty.

I'm a lefty. I would say less than 10%, actually maybe even less than 4% is tailored to left-handed people and less than 10% is Ambi except for the gun world it's getting better.

Yes... The left handed- well I wouldn't call it a struggle but living in a right handed world can be odd sometimes. I have to find positions when using rotary tools or angle grinders that don't spray sparks at fellow employees, or using scissors properly... Lol, it's an interesting life but it's mine. 👍

The options today are amazing, l started collecting knives before 90% of the people here were a twinkle in their parents eyes, there were a few good companies and some medium makers but a bunch of junk, l grew up in the Bronx and we all had Italian stilettos,. You do a great job.

You should test some knives against balistic gel to have an idea what's best on a self defense situation... I still think the karambit design is or must be very effective, no to mention its curve form is scary by it self. 🤔👉🔪✔️
