In 2008 whole working at a sporting goods store I commented that my supervisor not only looked exactly like a childhood friend of mine, but sounded like him as well. My supervisor said my friend had the same last name as his papa (grandfather - whom raised him). After some chatting between the two, my friend came up to the store with his father & his (their) dad, who used to be a state patrolman (the kind that slept with women to get them out of tickets), admitted that they were half beothers! Turns out the two never knew of the other & they never met up until that point. The father rarely visited my supervisor as he wanted to keep the extra marital affair a secret (the grandparents were aware but promised to keep silent). It was really cool seeing those two together & last I heard, they are now really close!

At 49 I found out I had an older half brother. It's not easy finding out everyone you were brought up to trust lied to you your whole life. The family destruction that eventually resulted from that, among other things, was total. The older folks weren't thinking what was best for us, they were thinking of their own potential discomfort. Lies and secrets like this should be a crime, you just do not have a right to do this to kids.

I am adopted and have always known i am adopted. If you don't tell a child they are adopted you are creating issues. I couldn't help but notice i didn't look like anyone and that nobody but me had musical talents. Knowing i was adopted made it all make sense. I had a fabulous family and never felt like less. These poor children never had a chance.

Not a twin, but my mother had a child about 4 years after I was born and given up for adoption. Although I received letters from my birth mother periodically, it was the 90s and they never went deeper than "I hope you're well." Now, 30 years later, through the powers of Facebook and other social media, my half sister and I are extremely close. Despite my growing up in a relatively centrist household, we're both very left leaning, witchy, polyamorous, and have many similar interests and hobbies. We're both divorced and remarried. We also share several mental and physical diagnoses. Ironically though, where I have hypothyroidism, she has hypERthyroidism. I'm overweight and struggle with losing weight whereas she is very slim and struggles keeping weight on.

My Co-venture partner was a separated identical twins. They were separated for cultural reasons. Something about evil likes identical twins or something. The birth family kept the older, while the youngest was taken by another family member who lives far away. Their whole life they kept separated until they accidentally met in a community event at 19. The older is a dark goth, atheist, loves Black and dark themes, death, witchcraft and black Rose. The younger is goth Lolita, deeply religious, loves White, laces and girly theme, death, witchcraft and white Rose. They also very good in art. Those hobby and likes seeped into their everyday life. You will never see them wearing something mundane or Muggles. They are so different but so identical too. A true black and white.

German has a VERY regular pronunciation. Knowing that Freud is pronounced in a certain way, or that Deutschland is pronounced the same way, Neubauer (meaning new farmer) should be pronounced noy bower and not nigh bower. With less than a few hours of instruction on the matter, you should be able to read German text correctly without knowing the meaning of a single word.

@@misterhat5823 It doesn't make it false. No government of any country was involved in that twins study. There's a growing tendency (specially among Americans) of blaming "the government" on anything bad that happens (Covid, hurricanes hitting Florida, international economic crises, foreign wars, etc.) and in things that don't happen (drone invasions, mental control, population reduction, HAARP caused whatever, etc.) And, when people acquire the conspiracy theory mindset virus, it can be so irritating that one can end up using bold or capital letters in an useless effort of shaking up the petrified contents of their heads. I know. I have been dealing with antivaxxers, flatearthers and Trump supporters for a long time.

It seems research of this type could be vulnerable to confirmation bias. If you look for similarities between any too objects, then you are likely to find some since that is what you are looking for. It would be interesting to see how this research avoids this issue if at all.

Maybe you could do a video about Jack Yufe and Oskar Stohr. They were a pair of Jewish identical twins who were separated at birth. One of the twins was adapted by a Nazi family while the other grew up in Trinidad. Apparently the one raised by Nazis was disciplined while the one raised in the Caribbean was more laid back.

All of these children developed emotional issues because their soul KNEW the most important person to them, their twin, had been taken from them. They shared the water of the womb, they needed to be together in order to feel safe and complete. They were meant to share their lives, and purposefully came into this realm together to have that bond. No amount of "science" can wave that away.
