One of the best endings if not the best. All the questions answered, loose ends tied and a truly happy ending for each of our favourite main characters. I wish the series continued on but I'm satisfied with how it ended and can re-watch all the episodes if I'm ever down about it ending. :)

I watched this tv show as it came out. i remembered crying during a couple scattered episodes; I also remembered crying during the last episode. My fiance and I just had a monk marathon of our own, and we watched all eight seasons again. I cried during this entire song and even a good few minutes after it ended. I was shocked. I was like oh I already cried the first time around so it won't happen again-- but it did. Monk is a great show and I'm sad there's no new episodes, but I'm happy for Monk. I'm happy for the closure he gets and I'm happy he's got Molly to help him the way Trudy used to. Tony Shalhoub is a great actor. And so is everyone else in this show.

...what is so moving about the finale song is in classic randy newman style he draws on the well formed on screen relationship set before you in a beautifully UNDERSTATED way... ...and the CAST!!!... take a bow... none of them imposed themselves in the series, BUT allowed their characters to develop in a way MONK himself personified by incremental life changes... A SALUTE to the writing and performances... ...I have known and sing aloud the opening song to MONK at the beginning of each episode, so original and fitting. But encapsulating the entire series sentiments, this ending series episode song deserved the award it received...bravo!!!😊

Just finished watching Mr. Monk final episode on Hallmark Channel and it was so perfect and so well developed. Amazing how relevant the character's germaphobia is to the pandemic we're all living in now. Instead of a phobia kook during the series run, his character has now become the new norm. I watched Monk when I was a kid. In the 8th grade, I was to move to a new state and leave all of my old friends behind. I remember that I wanted to make a goodbye video using this song. I think I may have actually looked at this exact youtube video when thinking about the video I wanted to make. I never did end up making the video. I'm an 11th grader now and summer is right around the corner. Soon enough, I'm going to be leaving a lot of my friends behind once again.
