Many administrative agencies have their own specialized courts. What sort of issues do these judges properly consider? Professor Ilan Wurman gives examples of obvious cases that these courts are meant to address, while also explaining instances where administrative courts may be improperly imitating Article III courts.
Ilan Wurman is an associate professor at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University where he teaches administrative law and constitutional law. He is the author of "A Debt Against the Living: An Introduction to Originalism" (Cambridge 2017).
