Mr and Mrs Adventure Hi! I am in Mexico. I got sick in 2013 I started having panic attacks, anxiety and depression. Little by little I isolated my self and started studying everything that I can. Quarantales Uno and now Dos!! YES!! The stories that some of my favorite vanlifers are sharing are rally moving. I think Salva's story, although not a vanlifer but a vanlifer's best friend, and how he's cooping moved me almost to tears and not just for him for the tens of thousands of people who are struggling. Oh how I loved this. Quarantales "From here and there and everywhere" was so wonderful to watch. I loved the seeing new faces and old. Thank you for the Sunday morning worship songs from your friends, beautiful. I was happy to see Salva. What a special young man he is. I hope I can take a trip when life changes again to El Salvador. Hello Adventure Folks! I like this channel because you guys tell it like it is, without sugar coating anything. The pandemic caused serious disruption in travel, employment income and health issues. Many van-lifers promoted the idea of living "off the grid", without having to pay rent, taxes, utilities, etc... A close analysis of typical nomadic life, showed that is not reality to assume that it is a worry free lifestyle. As lock-downs were instituted worldwide, van-lifers had to go back home and live with friends or relatives. Many of them are re-designing their lifestyles from traveling to farming to purveying "construction knowledge" whether it is for a new van/bus or a farm. Limited scale travel will not resume until 2021; many higher education institutions have suspended the start of a new school year till then, as well. Both of you are experienced travelers and realistic. Can you shed some light on "living off the grid" versus the reality what has taken place? How long a van-life would last? Have a great day! Glad you are enjoying our channel. Not sure how to reply to your question here... we feel we have been showing living off-grid and the reality of what has/is taking place. We think van-life we alway continue. Some will not move and others will. Economically, it’s affordable and sustainable. There are many different income levels and hustles of vanlife and as long as vans exist and people don’t mind living very simply in a small space, it will persist no matter the measures put in place.

I live in the midwest, Nebraska, and our governor has lifted the bans on shopping malls, hair salons, and restaurants starting next week. We have to wear masks while in the stores, but I believe its to soon. We are still getting more cars of Covid daily, so I don't understand it. Hi Angela! Protesters have stayed home for almost a month. They realize that the pandemic has not gone away. Since money does not grow on trees, they need to work to sustain themselves. So the conflict in summary is: Work and risk getting seriously sick and infect others or be healthy at home and financially broke. When people are hungry, government rules do not mean much. Remember Marie Antoinette in France...people were starving...she told them to eat cake...she wound up guillotined. The Bastille prison was overrun and destroyed by the hungry citizens. We are not at the point of rioting/armed conflict in streets. I hope it never gets to that point. Spend wisely your cash, and stock up necessities for a week. Take care! (A retired engineer)

So enjoyed this video and seeing some old KZbin friends as well as new ones you just introduced. I will miss seeing the travel Vogs as they have kept me going through this long dark, scary time. I'll try and connect with some of the new people as well to see what they are filming. I had plans to travel as you all have and then I my Rt knee went out on me twice, and two surgeries later, I'm still kind of stuck at home much of the time except for Physical Therapy appts. Now, I don't even have those due to the quarantine. My therapist was working in a large business with tables and patients all over-so not safe. Now, I feel I've actually shared all your travels with you as well as many others I've closely followed. So, it has meant so much to me as I may not ever get the chance to do so. Love you guys. Stay safe in AZ. (I live just south of Casa Grande in the desert as well, so stay COOL. It can get 116-122 in summers in AZ-especially where you are. You could always stay with me if need be. My house is messy as I haven't been able to keep it up much with my bum knee, but it's clean and I have space for an RV in back.) Thanks again for your very positive post. 💖🙏🏻💖

Being stuck on a boat has its highs and lows, just like everywhere else. We feel uber grateful to have fresh water and air around us and be able to snorkle (which helps maintain our zenlike state)... but it certainly comes with higher risks/issues as well versus the old vanlife. Nice surprise mr. and mrs. Adventure, thank you. You might be in the desert doing not much interesting but oh my goodness the tub memory you brought back to me. Palm Springs, California with the long commute everyday to that stupid steel fabrication job had bad results. They let me stay over on the job site and was practically cooked to death. Got a little tub similar to that and and survive the summer comfortably, thanks for introducing us to more of your people! ❤️

Very good to see you two are doing well....I lived in AZ in the early to mid 90's and yes it gets hot in the desert - such a shame you don't have an awning (kind with 4 poles to hold them up - you see that at family gathers or at farmer's markets) - anyway take care - be safe and well..Love til later.... ..
