I fell for you. I just went through this with my wife a few years ago. Brain cancer. She lasted 2.5 years and I lost her 4 years ago. Currently I am buying a 52 foot boat and heading to the south Pacific. That was our plan.

Thanks for your concern. So sad to hear about your experience which is far, far worse than ours. Good luck with your sailing plans. 😃

Nice to see your grandchildren. Both Ellen (rectal) and I (prostate) are cancer survivors, diagnosed in 2018. Both were caught early fortunately. Everyone should get themselves checked regularly. Colorectal cancer runs in my family. In 1996, my older brother died from colorectal cancer, buried on his 48th birthday. A younger brother put off getting checked. When he finally did, his large intestine was infested with cancer and had to be removed. Genetic testing identified that most of my siblings also have the PMS2 gene (Lynch Syndrome). I have a colonoscopy most every year and an upper endoscopy every other. Thank you for sharing your situation. We can sympathize with your situation. Hopefully others will take heed and be proactive in all healthcare.

Hi Jon and Ellen! Oh sure they are cute! But of course we are biased in that matter. Thank you for sharing your experience with cancer, so sorry to hear that you too have been affected both personally and in your family. It really is a horrible disease. Thank you for your kind comments, they are very much appreciated. We agree other should take heed and be proactive in all healthcare. Take care!😀
