The Rage Against The Machine thing was fantastic at the time. A sort of grassroots movement swelled up in the UK in response to the X-factor winners clogging up the airwaves at Christmas time and getting the coveted Christmas no.1 single. As a response loads of people bought the RATM single instead, it got to no.1 at Christmas and it now gets played yearly at Christmas time in the UK haha.

It's much more about the Rodney King incident and rampant racism in general than it is about censorship. Yeah they say "fuck you I won't do what you tell me" a bunch, but it's at the end of the song and it's referring to all the other stuff they brought up before. Not to mention FCC fines. Glad the reporter is ok. More times than not, reporters are paired up with a videographer now and while live, the videographer is to keep an eye out for any dangers.
