I went to Egypt so you don't have to.
Cairo is a massive city with more than 10 million people living in it, do they all eat pigeons? Pyramids of Giza will blow your mind, as will the constant honking.

When I was a kid we had often pigeons for dinner. My uncle bred pigeons for sport and those which were not strong enough or good at races ended up in a pot or oven. The brest meat and the drum sticks taste realy good, also some of the giblets like the heart or the kidney.

Please don't become tourist friendly, every single place that became tourist friendly ended up loosing their authenticity and natural charm, I'm literally beginning to think that tourism in that form is just another form of colonialism, I remember traveling before, it was fantastic, everything was different, everything was a challenge, now everything is American tourist ( idiot proof) "paradise", everything is distorted simplified and stripped of its natural charm and authentic soul.... it's actually a nightmare, so please stay the way you naturally are

With regards to the idea about building monuments that will be visited by tourists thousands of years from now, there is actually such a project in Bavaria. It's called the Zeitpyramide (time pyramid in English) and it consists of concrete blocks that are added every 10 years. The first block was installed in 1993 and since then 3 more have been added. A total of 120 blocks are planned for the complete pyramid, which means that it will take 1200 years for it to be completed (by the year 3183). Whether or not it will attract as many tourists to rural Bavaria as the pyramids in Giza do is a different question entirely)
@RadicalLiving

Nobody would care about rocks stacked into a pyramid shape in Germany. The interest in pyramids is because of their uses, especially the oldest pyramids that were used as power plants with chambers of chemicals that combined through shafts to create power for an ancient society before the modern Egyptians who had technology.

As a Christian I never understood why do you Muslims use "Allah" when speaking English instead of "God" which is the English word the Divinity. Is Allah a personal name? Isn't simply supposed to be the Arabic word for God which got transmitted into other languages spoken by Muslims? Is there a specific reason not to use "God"? For me as a non-native English speaker it's a weird concept. In Romanian we call Him "Dumnezeu" but we don't use that word when speaking English, of course

@@allesdurchprobiert I was visiting friends and family in Germany 2 weeks ago and when I crossed after the cars had passed while the light was still red, I realised I was the only one doing that and I felt really out of place. In the UK, no-one waits for the invisible cars. Even police and parents with kids cross at red if there's nothing coming but I guess folks in Germany wait because they can be fined for crossing at a red light.
@allesdurchprobiert
@allesdurchprobiert Жыл бұрын
@@lazrseagull54 Yes, it's illegal when you are at the lights and just ignore them. But just 3m(?) before and behind the lights it's legal. So, just stay away from the traffic light a bit, if you want to cross. Of course they stared 😂 The other reason why they wait, is that the majority of germans just loooooove to be obedient and submit to authority. That cliché is real! Just look at what we have to say about the destruction of Nordstream 1+2. Nothing. Cause Uncle Sam doesn't even need lube when he fncks us in the ass. We still say thanks.

i was wondering the same thing, my guess is that they want to show that this car was good taken care of because it was used in Germany, i don't think they have something like the TÜV in Egypt^^

1. For import tax avoidance reasons, but you get to update papers often 2. Many are actually fakes, ppl put them under the real plate to look cool

I thought it would be more tourists at the Pyramids.... Looks cool, I was in Egypt 2013, Kings valley and Luxor. Very intense for tourists😁 but wow world's best, nothing beats the Old Egyptians' work. Marsa Alam has great snorkling reefs If you plan to chill

Oh no! for god's sake If anyone here wanted to visit Egypt one day, please don't go to cairo or at least don't spend most of your time there because we Egyptians ourselves never think of spending any of our holidays there as it's not -no offense- that beautiful of a place, overcrowded and unbearably noisy, and my recommendation would be to go to Siwa oasis, Aswan or any of the costal resorts by the the red see or even doing a trip around the countryside since it's really unique and really relaxing which is exactly how a holiday should be.
