In your experience, how important is it to replace all four tires at the same time? I've heard this anecdotally, but just on its face it seems like the kind of advice that's made up by the marketing team of the company selling you the tires.

You wouldn’t buy only one glove or one shoe if it wears out so why get just one tire. It’s more about not having to chase the bad tire around the car. For budgetary reasons it’s cheaper to only replace the one that needs it. But if the car is aligned they will all need it pretty much at the same time. Tires scan be a tell as to the state of the vehicle in a lot of subtle ways.
