Thank you for posting this video, I was initially planning on taking 1 gap year and it has turned into 3 due to me attempting to get a higher LSAT score. I am not in a rush, I know it will happen in God's timing because I am learning a lot about myself along this journey. I have subbed to your channel...keep going.

You are so smart. People are telling students to go to law school regardless of your score. Poor advice. Student loan debt is real. A decent score can get you money. No one should pay full price for law school .
@whitneychanell3 ай бұрын
@@cheryltaylor4928 thank you, I tell every person planning to apply I meet. Most don’t know and they settle for a mid score cause they think all the LSAT does is get them admitted. A ton of debt from a school I have to rank high at just to get a decent job isn’t worth it.

I really needed this. thank you for posting this. I so badly wanted to only take 1 gap year after college but studying was much much harder than i anticipated even tho i knew it’d be hard. I decided to take that second gap year because it would atleast give me the peace of mind, if i need more time great if not even better.

You’re doing the right thing! Gap years only benefit you and there’s absolutely no rush. I promise. Check out my video on LSAT Demon, it’s the best prep course I’ve tried. Also, use this time to attend admissions sessions. Most top law schools hold them this time of year to answer questions about the application process. (Check out Stanford and Harvard’s website). Planning ahead so you can apply early will give you a big advantage. 💙

Law school it's not a walk in the park. I am doing the Barrister Training course BTC in the UK.

Thanks, I was the undergrad who asked that question. I’m a rising senior. You’re right, I’ll need to take a gap year or two so that I can show my senior year grades, and it would boost my GPA. I think having work experience in the region of the school I’m shooting for will be helpful too. By the way, what school are you in?

I’m so happy you made it to this video and I’m happy it was helpful. I’m currently studying for the LSAT and will be applying to schools this upcoming cycle pending I do well enough on the test. I previously attended Mitchell Hamlin School of Law though.

If your life's dream is to earn $22.00 per hour doing "temporary document review projects" after completing 7Y of higher education, and passing a grueling 2-day Bar Exam, you should definitely go to law school. The job market for new lawyers isn't crowded at all: there are only 11 law schools in the state of Florida, 10 in Pennsylvania, and so on. Live your dream!
@whitneychanell3 ай бұрын
@@criminallaw9573 well, you just made an excellent case for why someone shouldn’t settle for a mid-tier school. Thank you! I’m aiming a little higher than that. ♥️
@criminallaw95733 ай бұрын
@@whitneychanell For now. If you're at a large firm, 4Y is the average tenure. If you have a government job, you might be able to make a career out of it. I tired of dealing with the grossly over-saturated legal job market and opened my own solo practice about 15Y ago. I do well for myself, but for most, law school doesn't work out.

@@pep590 No. You have a certain amount of time to finish all your classes from the time you start. That’s why I had to withdraw. I took too long of a leave of absence. It’s ok, it was honestly for the best.
