Help needed please, somewhat confused, my RB26 maintains standard TT blow off valves however its been recommended by a tuner that my Barra ST does not require one at all.....when does the no requirement apply, and does it or can it apply to Barras RB26s etc, the Barras making 500 rwkw,s....appreciate your reply

Up to your tuner, just trust him. Some people delete them and they are fine.

I had thought I remembered you saying you were going a T51 housing mod in a previous video (I'd assumed for anti surge capability?) and wouldn't need a BOV anymore, or is that not quite correct?

Thats incorrect. T51R mod is just a sound, doesn't change performance in any way. We upgraded BOVs because we needed to

Wayne Columbine we wanted to remove return pipe and we had to remove intercooler and oil cooler to be cleaned after engine failure

Factory BOVs don't leak anyway. Most of them are designed as an over pressure relief valve and are supposed to open at a preset pressure. They're easy to mod so they work the same as an aftermarket one with no leaking.It's not just held closed by the spring either, with boost there's equal but opposite pressures either side.

1magnit nope. None of that is true at all. They are most certainly not pressure relief valves under power. And the boost can over power the weak spring
